A hot tub with jets is great for watching the northern lights. 1 hour drive from Reykjavik 20 minutes from Borgarnes. An ideal base for day trips to the south and west of Iceland. Enjoy beautiful Icelandic nature, in the idyllic Skorradalur valley, nestled between an 18km long lake, mountains, birch trees, brooks and more.

Contemporary Farmhouse With Amazing Views

Contemporary farmhouse with sauna and a great selection of books on a private 700 hectare property outside Borgarnes on the way to the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. Approached via a two kilometre private road - this is as secluded a place as you can find. You will cancel your plans and not want to leave the house. The landscape is magnificent as are the views in all directions. Two small lakes are home to a variety of birds including a pair of eagles who visit in late summer and throughout winter.

Bungalow in a river valley

Our bungalow is in the middle of a 15 hectar private forest close to the river Norðurá with a great view over the valley and the mountain Hafnarfjall. It is a very peaceful place about 20 km north from Borgarnes. The location is good if you are making an excursion to Snæfellsnes peninsula and/or the west of Iceland. Our location is ideal for observing the northern lights from September to the middle of April. Sorry, but we only host guests with positive reviews from other hosts

Oceanfront House with Private Hot Tub

The house stands by the shore and includes a private hot tub (renewed in june 2021) where you can enjoy the ocean and mountain view. It is away from farms in the area so you can enjoy some peace and quiet of Icelandic nature. It's 30 km west of Borgarnes. The location is perfect if you are traveling to Snæfellsnes peninsula. Our location is ideal for observing the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) as they can be seen from October through March. There are no nearby lights.

This cabin is in a beautiful location were the magnificent mountains are in the backyard and the lake, Skorradalsvatn, in the front. The cabin is newly renovated with natural look and balance in mind. Playful earth color pallet and nicely selected lights gives it a special touch. The surroundings are well designed with nicely shaped platform and trees providing tranquility and beauty.

This memorable place is anything but ordinary it is a tower with four floors and an amazing view. You can see the northern light from the top and have the breakfast with an amazing view but there are no cooking facility. It is a horse farm and you can see horses from the top floor and a hot spring in the middle of the river.
