Thank you for this wonderful stay! The guest house is lovingly decorated, with a lot of love for detail and absolutely clean. It has everything you need, and as a special highlight, there is even a hot pot to relax with fantastic views. The location is perfect to explore the surroundings around Borgarnes. Whether nature, sights or small excursions, everything is easily accessible. I felt completely comfortable. The hostess was also very likeable, responded quickly, clearly and friendly to all questions, in German and English. I met her briefly and got the impression of a very warm, helpful person. I would stay here again anytime and can recommend this guest house one hundred percent!

We loved the place! The big windows, the great view into the distance. You can tell that someone enjoys decorating. The house is very "Aurora-friendly", all light outside can be turned off. We would rent this house again immediately if in the area!

We very much enjoyed our 2 night stay at this beautiful cabin in Borganes! It was a great location for us to be able to spend a full day on the Snaefellsnes Peninsula! The cabin was very clean and cozy and the host was very welcoming! They had a lot of recommendations for the area that was much appreciated. We would recommend this cabin to other travelers!

This lovely summer home is in an amazing location with rugged mountains right behind the house. We enjoyed exploring this area, and loved all the birds in the area. The house and kitchen were well equipped. The porch on the table was a nice place to enjoy a late breakfast. The house was just right for our family for our explorations of the Snaefellness peninsula.

Location is 10 minutes from groceries and restaurants. Excellent location to base from to explore the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. Bedrooms are small but adequate. Hot tub was a welcome amenity to relax in after a long day of hiking and site seeing. Had a great time!

Over the top effort to make the home lovely, comfortable, and packed with every imaginable kitchen appliance, cooking utensil, pots & pans, and dinnerware, Netflix, Prime video and much more.

Paulina sent us clear and detailed instructions in advance for arriving and unlocking the house, which made the arrival very easy. We spent a lovely three days here. The location is quiet and ideal for relaxation, the kitchen is well equipped, with a large refrigerator. We also appreciated the nice details, such as basic groceries, tea, coffee, ketchup or prepared slippers. On the ground floor there are two bedrooms with double beds, in the attic there is a lowered ceiling, but you can still move comfortably. I can highly recommend staying at Paulina's!

Gudny's place was amazing and the photos didn't do it justice. My family of 5 were very comfortable. We loved the updated bathroom and use of the hot tub.

We had a lovely stay at the summer house. We were in a great location to see so many wonderful areas in the northwestern parts of Iceland. The nearby town has everything you need. The house was beautiful and clean. The hot tub was wonderful as were the surroundings. There was a lovely garden and flowers which made it very relaxing. And, unlike many places you will find in I eland, there were many mature trees. Really a wonderful experience. I would recommend it strongly for families with three or fewer children.

Great location right off highway, large windows with great views and a large space to spread out and relax inside. We were greeted by a friendly dog very eager to play catch with rocks :)

We stayed at the cottage for Easter weekend and were extremely happy with everything. The cottage was great in every way — spacious and tidy, with tons of space for the whole family. It was especially nice to have the guesthouse. The hot tub was wonderful – perfect after a day of hiking and to enjoy quiet evenings under the stars. Everything was there that we needed, and the communication with the owner was very good and easy. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this cottage!

Quiet and peaceful summer house next to a sweet horse farm. Very comfortable beds and homey atmosphere. Green grass as far as the eye can see. I wish I were there right now!

We really enjoyed this little house. It is comfortable and the renovated bathroom with heated floor is pure joy! We would have stayed longer. Don't hesitate to stay there!

We loved our stay here. It’s small but cozy. Our group of 7 slept comfortably and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. It was central to the things we were doing in Southwest Iceland. You will need to provide your own shower toiletries. Thankfully we came prepared for that. We’d stay here again.

Great accommodation, self check-in, spacious for 4 people. The hot bath is very nice at the end of the day!
