"Hunsrück Valley View" Holiday Home with SAUNA

A two-bedroom stylish and comfortable holiday apartment for up to four, with a terrace and picture-perfect view of the valley and mountains below. A cedar barrel sauna is available (at extra cost). The entire apartment was renovated in March 2024, including a new sauna oven (it gets really, really hot now), acoustic paneling, new kitchen with Bosch appliances (oven, dishwasher), rain-water shower, a washing machine with dryer, and new beds. You can also visit our herd of Scottish Highlanders!

We have excluded pets but dogs are allowed and welcome, The apartment is a few meters from the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park and very close to Erbeskopf and Idar-Oberstein. Restaurants, a bakery, a butcher and supermarkets are quickly accessible from the apartment by car.

I felt very comfortable and was personally welcomed by the hosts Manu and Stefan (and one of the two sweet dogs). You have everything you need there, the view is a dream and the room is equipped in high quality. Even I, as not a great technical genius, got along great with all the technical details:) If you don't want to be woken up by the sun in the summer and want to sleep in, I recommend a sleep mask, but for me that was the best thing:) In advance, you got great tips for restaurants and also on request an address for renting ebikes. I felt very comfortable and highly recommend it:)

A very nice place that is quietly located. Ideal for 2 persons. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need. The place is very clean and you feel right at home. Juliana and her family are super friendly and helpful. We immediately felt welcome.

Christine provided us with her accommodation at very short notice. Despite the sparse preparation time, everything was super nicely prepared and we felt comfortable right away! Communication was friendly and very open-minded. We really spent a few nice days in the Hunsrück. Thank you for that !

A really very nice, little cottage. It smells like wood when you come in, very pleasant. ☺️ The location is very quiet, we didn't notice anything from Hahn airport. The stairs up are really quite steep. For older people who are no longer so good on foot, probably not so suitable anymore. Since the weather was not so great despite June, we were very happy about the pellet stove. This made it nice and warm in the house. Only the painter's visit around the house bothered us a little, as it took a very long time. Maybe something like that should be done when there are no guests in the house. Otherwise, we enjoyed it very much.
