Sandhornøy has a rich wildlife and just outside the lake house you can experience both moose, deer, hare, otter, eagle and grouse. In summer, Finnvikhaugen is the perfect place to experience the midnight sun and in winter you can experience the Northern Lights. There are great hiking trails and the possibility for mountain hikes.

If you prefer concert experiences, Stormen Concert Hall is within walking distance. Quiet and orderly people are welcome here :) Two bicycles are available in the summer.
