The location was great, walking distance to trains and trams to get to the heart of Amsterdam. Far enough away to be quiet for nights in. Nancy was very communicative even though she was on holiday. Easy parking if you drive in and plenty of space for 5, especially if someone doesn’t mind the couch. Would be great for 3 couples. Amazing showers 😁

We were two for 2 nights there. The reception was very warm and friendly. The available bicycles were a great way to take a leisurely evening ride or to be able to shop in less than 20 minutes. With our car, we drove to Zandvoort by the sea in just under 1 hour. It was incredibly relaxing and the area is very nice.

We had a wonderful holiday in Moniek’s beautiful house. We were so comfortable and relaxed as Moniek provided everything we could need. There were lots of lovely, stylish extras in her house too that made our stay feel special. The neighbourhood is great; quiet, peaceful and full of beautiful views of boats, beaches parks, nature and water. Yet there is also loads to do with teenagers, being so close to Amsterdam, Ajax and Delft. Almere is the perfect place to explore by cycling. The week went so quickly. Moniek was very helpful in giving useful and detailed info and in answering questions quickly. I would 100% highly recommend this AirBnB to others.

We stayed with Onno in April 2025 with my wife, my son and my parents. The house is really wonderful, has everything you need and is very nicely furnished. The location is great, with the wheels that are on the house, we went through the Bollenstreek and had a fantastic time.

We stayed at Trevor’s for several months. During our stay Trevor was an excellent host, answering our questions quickly. The house was well equipped with all the essentials. The location is perfect, walking distance to the train station and a beautiful view of the canal.

Perfect location, unique way to stay in the city. Would highly recommend. Very different experience, of course, than a home or hotel but this makes travel more fun. Being right on the "skinny" bridge was a fantastic experience. Great for people watching or just quickly being right in the middle of everything.

I have been to Amsterdam several times, and Martin’s Airbnb is the best accommodation I’ve ever had. Even the best I’ve had in Europe. The terrace is jaw dropping beautiful, it is so close to the Waag in Nieuwmarkt that it feels like you could throw a rock and hit it. The sunsets are absolutely stunning. The best part though: the BED! Not only were the sheets and comforter soft, but the bed is so cozy. It was a perfect place to take refuge at night from a week of exploring Amsterdam. The stairs are steep but Martin insisted on carrying my luggage up and down for me, all 45 pounds of it. The cats are also amazing - very cuddly and sweet. You also have the option to lock the cat door if you wish. Even as a solo traveler, I felt very safe even though it is in the red light district. If you take a right out of the Airbnb you won’t even be in the red light district, it is perfectly on the border. This was an incredible stay and I can’t wait to be back!

Wonderful place. Kids (4, 6, 8) loved the shared attic rooms. They slept through the night and had no issues with the stairs. Lovely setup with table and kitchen area too. Shower/bathroom made bedtime easy! Parking was close. Easy to turn around by the new pump station before the gravel path. Beautiful setting, lots of wildlife!

We stayed for a couple of days while visiting Amsterdam and Leiden - it was fantastic for the train and a real quiet cosy little place Kitty was a lovely host, she sent the most comprehensive directions I’ve ever gotten to find the place from the station and was super speedy to respond. Great cottage, quiet, well furnished, beautiful terrace and not far from Rotterdam. I definitely recommend the place.

Very nice place in the heart of Amsterdam and yet nice and quiet inside. The loft has an incredibly comfortable bed while there is a very acceptable sofa bed below. There is also another solution for a smaller individual who wants to sleep alone. The kitchen is well appointed, no microwave but everything you really need. Andrew was very responsive, and the lock system works really well, giving multiple people free movement.

We had a wonderful stay at the accommodation in Zandvoort. The apartment was exactly as described and in the photos – clean, cozy and very welcoming. We felt comfortable right from the beginning. The location is just perfect – close to the beach, town and yet quiet. Annette was a great host: very friendly, easily accessible and with great tips for the area. We will definitely be happy to come back!

Staying on the Rothor was very special: Jeanette is a very warm and reserved host, but she is always there for questions. She responds very quickly, immediately replaced duvets (due to Down allergy) and gave us a lot of information about the boat and its surroundings. We immediately felt at home and also very happy to spend time on the boat. The boat is very lovingly and personally furnished, the kitchen well equipped. It is very bright due to the wrap-around windows and also cozily warm in the sun. Otherwise, the good fireplace quickly remedies, even at low outside temperatures (in the morning it was usually only 4 - 6 degrees). In the evening it was a little louder due to the gastronomy from time to time, which did not bother us. For this, geese swim by with chicks, chickens and even hood divers. Kaat, Jeanette's cat, always liked to look to the right and stayed for a nap to our great joy.

Delighted with our stay, great location for visiting the western part of the Netherlands. Mrs. Verloop speaks French and welcomed us very warmly. The place was able to accommodate 6 adults and two one-year-old children. The beach is right next door. Recommended

Beautiful cottage with a lovely swimming pool. Beautiful large kitchen. Ideally furnished for larger family of 6 people. Warm welcome. The wine was ready, as well as cake and sweets ! Certainly subject to repetition!

Great host and great place. Very special venue, extraordinarily peaceful and comfortable with beautiful surroundings explorable by boat. Thank you Erik for taking such great care of us and being so responsive.

Our stay at Marcels cottage was brilliant! He welcomed us upon arrival, introduced us to his family, showed us around the cottage, explained how to unlock the electric gates and swimming pool cover. The cottage is within the grounds of Marcels house but provided enough privacy for both of us. Marcel is a very easy going person, friendly and accommodating. He was always there when we needed him but never impinged upon our privacy. We were on a cycling holiday on our own road bikes and not once did we fear our bikes would be stolen from the garden. Vicky my wife is a keen swimmer and there was never a time when it was a problem for her to use the pool. We loved the accommodation and the atmosphere Marcel provided. Of all the Airbnb we have stayed at this is by far the best. Thoroughly recommend. We will definitely come back 😀

Our stay met our expectations. We own a sailboat and are aware of the space restrictions involved. We enjoy different experiences and this fit the bill. Steven is very helpful and friendly and we enjoyed talking with him. We took advantage of the tugboat tour Steven offers to his guests and this was a more intimate experience than we would otherwise have had on a canal trip in Amsterdam. Steven gave us the opportunity to experience bitter ballen and Skipper bitters at an old Dutch pub. For those who are adventurous and able bodied, this is a stay to put on the list!!

My husband and I went on vacation during our 14-day stay, but also partly worked. The work worked really well with the Wi-Fi, also a desk was available in the third bedroom. But the house was also very suitable for the holiday. Everything was very well equipped, there was nothing missing. Beds are very comfortable and bathrooms modernly equipped. In the evening we turned on the fireplace more often, very comfortable. To the stone you could walk well and also make great excursions in the area with the bikes. Elvi was easily accessible and very helpful. The place is really recommended, with or without children.

Great place. Really quiet when we were there, felt right at home, many beautiful touches on the boat. Location was great too, bus few minutes away, also walkable if you fancy.
