The location was great, walking distance to trains and trams to get to the heart of Amsterdam. Far enough away to be quiet for nights in. Nancy was very communicative even though she was on holiday. Easy parking if you drive in and plenty of space for 5, especially if someone doesn’t mind the couch. Would be great for 3 couples. Amazing showers 😁

Wir waren zu zweit für 2 Nächte dort. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und freundlich. Die zur Verfügung stehenden Fahrräder waren eine tolle Möglichkeit um eine gemütliche abendliche Runde zu fahren oder auch in nichtmal 20 Minuten etwas einkaufen zu können. Mit unserem Auto sind wir in knapp 1h nach Zandvoort ans Meer gefahren. Es war unglaublich entspannend und die Gegend ist sehr schön.

We had a wonderful holiday in Moniek’s beautiful house. We were so comfortable and relaxed as Moniek provided everything we could need. There were lots of lovely, stylish extras in her house too that made our stay feel special. The neighbourhood is great; quiet, peaceful and full of beautiful views of boats, beaches parks, nature and water. Yet there is also loads to do with teenagers, being so close to Amsterdam, Ajax and Delft. Almere is the perfect place to explore by cycling. The week went so quickly. Moniek was very helpful in giving useful and detailed info and in answering questions quickly. I would 100% highly recommend this AirBnB to others.

Wir waren im April 2025 bei Onno mit meiner Frau, meinem Sohn und meinen Eltern zu Gast. Das Haus ist wirklich wunderbar, hat alles, was man braucht und ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Lage ist toll, mit den Rädern, die am Haus sind, sind wir durch den Bollenstreek und haben eine phantastische Zeit gehabt.

We stayed at Trevor’s for several months. During our stay Trevor was an excellent host, answering our questions quickly. The house was well equipped with all the essentials. The location is perfect, walking distance to the train station and a beautiful view of the canal.

Perfect location, unique way to stay in the city. Would highly recommend. Very different experience, of course, than a home or hotel but this makes travel more fun. Being right on the "skinny" bridge was a fantastic experience. Great for people watching or just quickly being right in the middle of everything.

I have been to Amsterdam several times, and Martin’s Airbnb is the best accommodation I’ve ever had. Even the best I’ve had in Europe. The terrace is jaw dropping beautiful, it is so close to the Waag in Nieuwmarkt that it feels like you could throw a rock and hit it. The sunsets are absolutely stunning. The best part though: the BED! Not only were the sheets and comforter soft, but the bed is so cozy. It was a perfect place to take refuge at night from a week of exploring Amsterdam. The stairs are steep but Martin insisted on carrying my luggage up and down for me, all 45 pounds of it. The cats are also amazing - very cuddly and sweet. You also have the option to lock the cat door if you wish. Even as a solo traveler, I felt very safe even though it is in the red light district. If you take a right out of the Airbnb you won’t even be in the red light district, it is perfectly on the border. This was an incredible stay and I can’t wait to be back!

Un séjour très agréable dans un cadre magnifique en pleine nature ! Location conforme à la description et permettant de visiter Rotterdam, la Haye, Amsterdam et bien d’autres encore ! Marja a été très accueillante à notre arrivée. Les enfants ont pu profiter des canoës mis à disposition avec la location. Je recommande ce logement, coupure et dépaysement garantis !

We stayed for a couple of days while visiting Amsterdam and Leiden - it was fantastic for the train and a real quiet cosy little place Kitty was a lovely host, she sent the most comprehensive directions I’ve ever gotten to find the place from the station and was super speedy to respond. Voor de tweede keer in korte tijd bij Willem. Willem is zeer vriendelijk en alert. Accomodatie voldoet uitstekend voor twee personen.

Very nice place in the heart of Amsterdam and yet nice and quiet inside. The loft has an incredibly comfortable bed while there is a very acceptable sofa bed below. There is also another solution for a smaller individual who wants to sleep alone. The kitchen is well appointed, no microwave but everything you really need. Andrew was very responsive, and the lock system works really well, giving multiple people free movement.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft in Zandvoort. Die Wohnung war genauso wie beschrieben und auf den Fotos – sauber, gemütlich und sehr einladend. Wir haben uns von Anfang an wohlgefühlt. Die Lage ist einfach perfekt – nah zum Strand, zur Stadt und trotzdem ruhig. Annette war eine großartige Gastgeberin: sehr freundlich, gut erreichbar und mit tollen Tipps für die Umgebung. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!

Der Aufenthalt auf der Rothor war etwas sehr Besonderes: Jeanette ist eine sehr warmherzige und zurückhaltende Gastgeberin, die aber bei Fragen immer da ist. Sie antwortet sehr schnell, hat umgehend Bettdecken ausgetauscht (wg. Daunenallergie) und uns viele Infos zum Boot und zur Umgebung gegeben. Wir haben uns sofort zu Hause gefühlt und auch sehr gerne Zeit auf dem Boot verbracht. Das Boot ist sehr liebevoll und persönlich eingerichtet, die Küche gut ausgestattet. Es ist durch die umlaufenden Fenster sehr hell und bei Sonne auch gemütlich warm. Sonst schafft der gute Kaminofen schnell Abhilfe, selbst bei niedrigen Außentemperaturen (morgens waren es meist nur 4 - 6 Grad). Abends war es ab und an etwas lauter durch die Gastronomie, uns hat das nicht gestört. Dafür schwimmen Gänse mit Küken, Bläßhühner und sogar Haubentaucher vorbei. Kaat, Jeanettes Katze, schaute immer gerne nach dem Rechten und blieb zu unserer großen Freude auch mal für ein Nickerchen.

Ravi de notre séjour, très bien situé pour visiter la partie Ouest du Pays-Bas. Mme Verloop parle Français et nous a accueilli très chaleureusement. Le logement a pu nous accueillir 6 adultes et deux enfants d un an. La plage est juste à côté. Je recommande

Prachtig huisje met een heerlijk zwembad. Mooie grote leefkeuken. Ideaal ingericht voor groter gezin van 6 personen. Hartelijk ontvangst. De wijn stond klaar, evenals koek en snoep ! Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!

Great host and great place. Very special venue, extraordinarily peaceful and comfortable with beautiful surroundings explorable by boat. Thank you Erik for taking such great care of us and being so responsive.

Our stay at Marcels cottage was brilliant! He welcomed us upon arrival, introduced us to his family, showed us around the cottage, explained how to unlock the electric gates and swimming pool cover. The cottage is within the grounds of Marcels house but provided enough privacy for both of us. Marcel is a very easy going person, friendly and accommodating. He was always there when we needed him but never impinged upon our privacy. We were on a cycling holiday on our own road bikes and not once did we fear our bikes would be stolen from the garden. Vicky my wife is a keen swimmer and there was never a time when it was a problem for her to use the pool. We loved the accommodation and the atmosphere Marcel provided. Of all the Airbnb we have stayed at this is by far the best. Thoroughly recommend. We will definitely come back 😀

Our stay met our expectations. We own a sailboat and are aware of the space restrictions involved. We enjoy different experiences and this fit the bill. Steven is very helpful and friendly and we enjoyed talking with him. We took advantage of the tugboat tour Steven offers to his guests and this was a more intimate experience than we would otherwise have had on a canal trip in Amsterdam. Steven gave us the opportunity to experience bitter ballen and Skipper bitters at an old Dutch pub. For those who are adventurous and able bodied, this is a stay to put on the list!!

Mein Mann und ich haben während unseres 14tägigen Aufentalts zum Teil Urlaub gemacht, aber auch zum Teil gearbeitet. Das Arbeiten hat mit dem WLan wirklich gut funktioniert, auch ein Schreibtisch war im dritten Schlafzimmer vorhanden. Aber auch für den Urlaub war das Haus sehr gut geeignet. Alles war sehr gut ausgestattet, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und die Bäder modern ausgestattet. Abends haben wir öfter den Kamin angemacht, sehr gemütlich. Zum Steand konnte man gut laufen und auch mit den Rädern tolle Ausflüge in die Umgebung machen. Elvi war gut erreichbar und sehr hilfreich. Die Unterkunft ist wirklich empfehlenswert, mit oder ohne Kinder.

Das Hausboot war einfach schön. Mein Partner, mein Hund und ich waren über Silvester dort. Die Lage ist super zentral, trotzdem ruhig. Auf dem Sofa vor dem Kamin zu sitzen und aufs Wasser zu schauen, war einfach nur entschleunigend. Wir möchten gern bei besserem Wetter noch einmal Utrecht besuchen. Eine tolle Stadt!

Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist hohe Qualität und einwandfrei sauber. Ellen war gut zu erreichen und sehr freundlich. Es war ein traumhafter Aufenthalt. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen.

Great place. Really quiet when we were there, felt right at home, many beautiful touches on the boat. Location was great too, bus few minutes away, also walkable if you fancy.
