Perfect property for groups. This house was wonderful for our family group. We made use of the kayaks and enjoyed family meals on the deck. Everything was as listed. Beautiful location, we'd love to come again

Fantastic eco-resort (retreat amidst subtropical forest) very close to the amazing sand dunes of Anna Bay. The pool was luckily located right in front of our cottage. And the hot-tub (at every cottage) around the front deck was a great addition to the overall experience. Brief interactions with Antony (owner) were as great as his vigilance to manage this excellent property. Koalas are often spotted within the property but we were unlucky in that. Overall great experience and highly recommend as a place to stay if you are visiting Port Stephens.

We stayed 2 nights at Tuncurry Lakes Resort on our road trip from Sydney to Brisbane. Our 3 and 6 year olds absolutely loved their stay - highlights were the jumping pillow, pool, and the “horsey swings”. The park was thoughtfully laid out with multiple bbqs between units and enough outdoor seating to accommodate everyone. The location was peaceful yet convenient to groceries, shops etc. Our kids have already asked when we’re holidaying there again! We’d happily recommend Siobhan’s place to anyone looking for a suitable location for a holiday, particularly for families.

If you want to be away from the noise, in a natural piece of paradise, with lots of space and loads of entertainment for you and your family or friends, this is the place to be. People tend to come to Forster and stay next to the beach, but only 7 minutes away (driving) there's this place that will blow your mind away with a magnificent outdoors area. And the best part... dog friendly!! Highly recommended. We will be back!!

Had a fabulous time in this stunning and well serviced bush retreat! Many towels provided for the beautiful pool and also appreciated the well- equipped kitchen. Enjoyed the bushwalks on the property, lots of butterflies. Helpful hosts. I would definitely stay again. Thank you Bronwyn and Max

Bed was super comfy too and despite being right on the front the place was very soundproofed. Mark was very responsive when we were getting in and on the lead up to our stay. Thanks!

We had a wonderful time at Kate’s house. The setting was perfect, the house had everything we needed and much more. Kate was very responsive and helpful. The tinny and kayaks made the location even more special, as we could explore the surrounding lake. The house was so spacious and comfortable. We could not fault it and will definitely return.

We loved our stay at your beautiful home - so eclectic, gorgeous gardens, so relaxing with the wrap around verandah and day beds, and the magic bush track down to the beach. The kitchen was fully equipped, and everything so thoughtfully presented … a relaxing home away from home! Our little dog Cliffy absolutely loved his time there too … lots to explore in the fully fenced garden, and he loved his daily beach adventures. Thank you Evelyn & Kerry for making our stay so special. We will definitely be back and stay longer next time.

Was clean well equipped and catered to accomodate the whole family. Dog friendly. The family preference was if the bbq was in the upstairs balcony, would have been great especially with mozzies around. Very happy and enjoyed the weekend. Felt at home.

It was beautifully decorated, clean, and had all the amenities I could have asked for. The space was both cosy and stylish, with plenty of room to relax and unwind. It truly felt like a home away from home. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with a fantastic host and a lovely property. Will definitely return!

We had a fantastic weekend in Harrington with our pup Xola. The house was really comfortable, well thought out, and had everything we needed. It felt welcoming from the moment we arrived. There was plenty of space to park two cars and a boat, which made things super convenient. The area was peaceful, with beautiful birdlife that added to the relaxed vibe. The amenities were more than expected. We really appreciated was the wireless vacuum—it made keeping the beach house tidy really easy. Joel and Naomi were excellent hosts with great communication. We’d happily come back again.

We loved staying at Alan's place. Its in a great location, 3 or 4 minutes walk to the beach, then a 15 to 20 minute walk along the beach to Black Head and the ocean pool. The unit is surrounded by bush, and the birdlife is magnificent. The unit itself is simple, relaxed, not fussy, and with everything we needed. Alan was easy to communicate with and always quick to respond. The guest book is filled with fabulous reviews from repeat guests. We may too become repeat guests! Highly recommend.

Absolutely speechless!!! booked this for two nights with my mum and sister and all three of us could not believe how nice it was. The house is spotless with the pool area at the back feeling like a private resort. Everything you need is in the house, there's really no need to leave. Would highly recommend to anyone especially for the price.

Fantastic property with thoughtful hosts; a wonderful choice for families and kids of all ages. Well maintained amenities and attention to detail made our stay with extended family a delight. The heated pool was a hit - even when it rained - and it was easy to get in and out safely for both the toddler and senior in our group. The wood fire pizza oven is definitely worth cranking for dinner or just to hang in the mini-amphitheatre. The playhouse, car and trampoline kept our little one very entertained. Every room was immaculate and beautifully designed. We were even treated to some local produce courtesy of our host - thanks Lauren! A magical location and very peaceful. Just 10 minutes walk to town and if you’re up for exploring, follow the ‘secret’ track to Wreck beach via the bushland at the rear of the garden. Highly recommend.

Beautiful places at a beautiful location not too far out of the town. Clean and spacious. My group had a relaxed stay here and will come back again.

Simon’s place is simply amazing. Not only is a great house, in an amazing spot but It was equipped with everything anyone could ever possibly need. Simon was always available and responsive to any queries, and went the extra mile to find out more about our plans and interests so he could recommend activities or offer additions l help. I have stayed in plenty of Airbnb’s and I must say I think this tops them all, and no doubt I will be back.

Absolutely amazing home located in a beautiful setting. Extremely peaceful, great swimming pool, views to die for. A wonderful place to stay for families or groups of friends. Very clean and every room has its own ensuite. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed four beautiful days at Elizabeth's place. It is a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Forster and Tuncurry, although only a short drive to both towns. There is a local convenience store if you don't fancy a drive, and eating places are close by. Close by are several beautiful beaches. The accommodation has everything that you could want and is set on a large property overlooking a lush landscape. The only noise is the sound of nature. Every comfort is provided. We particularly enjoyed time on the deck outside the bedroom, watching the birds and taking in the peaceful vista. Elizabeth is a great communicator and provided us with detailed information about every aspect of the airbnb. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this lovely piece of paradise and would love to return.
