Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Block Island

Rose’s beautiful home was the perfect home base for my alumni reunion weekend. The home is situated in the heart of the College Hill area, close to Brown, RISD, and all kinds of dining and shopping. Once my car was parked in the driveway, I didn’t really need to move it, since most of my planned activities were within walking distance. The room was impeccably done, with lots of room to feel at home. Rose even put out a tea setting for me each morning to start the day. Her home definitely does not feel like a hotel — it feels like a true home, especially welcome after a day crammed with activities. I was very pleased with my stay.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Location is excellent, very close to all the beaches and Watch Hill area. Marcy was very responsive and very accommodating. The place was very well stocked as well with everything you need. Highly recommend!

This place was exactly what I needed for my trip. Dianne was very responsive, met me at check in, and showed me around. The space is so much larger than it looks in the posting. It feels like a small apartment rather than a spare room. The area is quiet, and a short drive to stores and restaurants. I walked down to the beach, and it was also very peaceful. Please note that the walk to the beach is down a dirt road that cuts through some woods. I would recommend walking shoes and not flip flops. Overall, I loved my stay and highly recommend Dianne's place!

We stayed at Wiz's place for 3 nights and felt right at home! Our stay was super pleasant, there are a lot of things to do in the area and we could have stayed a lot longer. The breakfast was such a nice little touch and the homemade goodies were very much appreciated! Thanks again for everything!!

We very much enjoyed staying at Carol's home. It was very cozy and clean, and she greeted us and even introduced her dogs and cat. It had everything we could ever need and it's in a prime location, we would highly recommend!

Cathy’s house is a wonderful example of a real New England inn that has historical significance. It’s charming, cosy and just quirky enough to make it interesting. Very comfortable. Cathy is a delightful, and always a good host.

Freddy is a treasure and to stay in his Airbnb has been an honor. It's really well located and his extensive knowledge of all the happenings during the weekend positioned us right in the heart of the action.

Brian and Jean were wonderful hosts. Their B&B is warm and welcoming. Our room was clean and cozy. After a delicious breakfast make by Brian, we left well rested and well fed!

Virginia was very welcoming! I didn’t realize when booking that the accommodations were part of the main house (the whole second floor is the guest suite space), with the kitchen space shared. This was by no means a problem and was user error on my part. That being said staying here was the closest to a true bed and breakfast experience I’ve had using Airbnb. Virginia had a nice light breakfast with fresh fruit, pastries, bagels and coffee each morning which was delightful. It was one of the cleanest Airbnbs I’ve stayed in. Highly recommend if you’re comfortable with a partially shared space. If I’m back in the area, I would stay again!

We were all staying at High Grass Farm so we could attend the Brimfield flea market and the location of this place was perfect! The house itself was very nice and cozy. When we arrived, there were fruits, granola bars, and even a cake made for us to enjoy. The host, Karen, was quick to respond to our messages and even helped us out with our dog while we were out. Overall, an amazing stay and we hope to be back again!

I love this place so much that I almost wish I could keep it a secret, but then all you wonderful people wouldn't experience being hosted by Martha and Tony. Idyllic doesn't even begin to describe their gorgeous property and you'll have a separate space from the main house to stay in - a renovated barn with a generously sized suite for guests. The space is filled with antiques, and you can tell that each one has its own story. The bed is super comfy, the room has a modern split system to keep the space at the right temperature, and the bathroom is pristine and has everything you need. What makes each stay really special is the farmer's breakfast that Martha brings to her guests in the morning, filled with fresh and warm goodies for every palate. Martha herself has become a dear friend to me over the years and I look forward to staying with her again in October.

Connie and Frank’s house is in a great location in the middle of Jamestown with easy access to the local restaurants and close to the different state parks on the island. The top floor suite is a very nice space. Very clean. Connie is a great host. The baked goodies she provides are very nice!

This place was absolutely enchanting. The view of the river stretched out before us, shimmering like a ribbon of silver as it wound through the landscape, creating a breathtaking backdrop. It’s the perfect haven for couples seeking a tranquil escape, offering an ideal setting for relaxation and nurturing self-care. Whether sipping tea on the patio or taking a leisurely stroll along the water’s edge, every moment here feels like a soothing embrace from nature.

One night will never be enough. When you first walk in you are immediately immersed into another world. A world of a life well lived.. a world full of stories. We didn’t want to leave and have already decided to return! Thank you Evan!

My daughter and I fell in love with the Dragonfly Inn. We are huge Gilmore Girls fans, so that was our initial draw, but our expectations were exceeded before we even arrived. The hosts are so communicative and we were made to feel right at home. The property is far enough from the hustle and bustle that you can truly relax but close enough that its a quick trip to local attractions. The Inn and its surrounding property are beautiful and we were even able to peek in to see the horses! We’re already discussing with our family to visit again soon!

Sara was awesome! We will definitely stay here again if we were in the area. The place was clean and comfortable, and Sara was welcoming, communicative, and conversational while looking out for the comfort of us as guests. Just make sure you are respectful of the space as you are staying in a room in her home. Thanks so much Sara, it was so nice to meet you!

Charles was a friendly and responsive host. The location was beautiful and close to shopping and restaurants. We loved our stay. The house was gorgeous.

What an amazing stay and such fabulous hosts! The home has so much charm and character with exquisite detail and high end amenities. Mark and Johnny went above and beyond to make our stay incredible! When I left, I felt like I was leaving my family! I can't wait to return!
