Storstugan

Here you get the chance to stay in a spacious house with nature right on the doorstep. The farm is surrounded by forest and meadows and about 100 meters below the house, Rogsån river flows by. There you can take a swim, walk, run or ride a mountain bike along the many trails that are nearby. Distance by car: Lugnet, Falu Mine and Falun C about 10 minutes (8 km) Swimming beach 1.5 km Alpine resort in Bjursås (20 min) and Romme (40 min) In winter, there may be ski and snowmobile tracks just below the house if the snow conditions are good.

Room with kitchenette, 25 square meters. Bathroom with shower. One double bed (120 cm wide) and sofa bed for 2 people. The accommodation is maximized for 2 adults, but there is also room for 2 small children. Kitchenette equipped with hob, fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee maker. TV and Wifi. Towels and bed linen are included. You will also have access to the laundry room located in the main building. We will charge a cleaning fee of SEK 200 for bed linen, etc. However, we expect you to do a fine cleaning before you check out.

Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2 km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop, 4-minute walk. The timber house is in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from being torn down when it was moved here. The interior design is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. On the farm, the host couple lives in the house and there is a large garden that provides privacy. The accommodation includes toilet, shower, sauna, charcoal grill and outdoor furniture. There is a double bed in a separate bedroom and sofa bed with two beds in the living room. Cleaning is not included in the price and should be done before checkout.

The village is located along Siljan, by car it takes 4 minutes to Leksand Sommarland, 8 minutes to central Leksand and equally close to Tällberg.
