Het uitzicht vanuit de woonkamer is adembenemend. De villa is goed te bereiken en ligt op minder dan tien minuten rijden van Fludir, waar je boodschappen kunt doen en naar de secret lagoon kunt gaan. Perfecte locatie dus. We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in de villa!

Super Unterkunft. Mit dem Auto ist alles in der Umgebung super schnell erreichbar. Alina hat uns super schnell geantwortet und war sehr hilfsbereit. Alles was man braucht ist in der Unterkunft zu finden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist nur zu empfehlen!

This cabin has everything you need for a peaceful vacation

Jon's place in Flúðir was a delightful surprise! The space was incredibly comfortable and spacious, perfect for exploring the stunning Icelandic countryside. The bathroom was a particular highlight, feeling more like a luxurious 5-star hotel than a vacation rental. The place was fully equipped with everything I needed, making our stay truly hassle-free. Jon was also very responsive and helpful, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Wonderfully proactive communication made for an easy self-check in. House was spacious and charming. All the listed amenities were available, though we didn’t stay long enough to use all of them. Try the local restaurants — especially the bistro— they’re amazing!

This house is beautiful and the view is amazing. We loved soaking in the hot tub while gazing at the glacier in the distance, surrounded by trees. There are stairs to access the house, but we were able to navigate them just fine. The nearby town had a lovely spa, Laugarvatn Fontana, that we enjoyed, and we recommend the restaurant Linden. We stayed two nights and wish we could have stayed longer. The host was responsive and friendly. Highly recommend!

Ingibjorn was a wonderful, caring host, that spent quality time with us, tour us through the Barnes to meet all the baby cows and animals, and made us really feel at home. It is a little challenging to get to the location, but you will be so glad you did. It is so peaceful out here in the country on this farm, the animals and horses are lovely, gorgeous view over the valley and the river channels is breathtaking. The home was very clean, with beautiful hardwood floors, and we could not have enjoyed our stay more. Five stars. Thank you so much for everything Ingibjorn! Such a peaceful lovely farm getaway. The whole family will be back again, and loved all the animals.

My husband and I took our 18 year old daughter to Iceland to celebrate her graduating from High School. The apartment was sufficient in size for the 3 of us. The apartment was walking distance to everything we needed, and the area felt very quiet and safe. We got good from a local grocery store, and made breakfast at the apartment- we had everything necessary to make eggs, toast, etc. I would stay here again and would recommend it to other people. *One thing to note, that when we stayed here in May of 2025- it appeared that they are making some big updates/renovations to the apartment complex. When we arrived there was loud sawing/drilling noises (maybe around 6pm) and the same noises started again around 8:30am the next morning. I understand that the work needs to get done, but perhaps starting after 9am, and ending around 5pm would have been better so that the guests could rest.

Skipholt 1 is located in a beautiful and peaceful area. The building is as described and it was clean and tidy. It could maybe use shampoo and one door handle was slightly loose, but no major issues at all. Karl was always responsive and helpful, and his dogs were friendly too! I would stay here again and recommend to others!

Elfa is a very helpful and positive person! She provided all the instructions with flexibility. The place is situated close to the lake close to many landmarks and national parks. The apartment is very clean (the cleanest I ever had on Airbnb) and gives you a lot of privacy. I totally recommend!

Great location, fantastic views, wonderful apartment with comfortable mattresses, well equipped kitchen and lovely hot pool.

We have enjoyed this place, very peaceful and perfectly situated to visit the Golden Circle sites. The housing is quite basic, but sufficient and very comfortable. We recommend this place.

J’ai loué des dizaines d’airbnb dans la France et l’Europe et celui ci est le plus beau que j’ai loué. Décoré avec soin, au milieu de la campagne et des chevaux islandais : l’expérience est incroyable. On ne manque de rien dans l’appartement et il était très propre. La literie est confortable. Le logement correspond parfaitement à la description. Il est parfaitement bien situé pour visiter le cercle d’or. Je reviendrai sans hésitation si un jour je suis de nouveau dans le coin.
