Nosi naziv prema imenu svog posljednjeg vakifa koji je kuću uvakufio. Ova ulica je bila dio stare mahale koja se nekad nazivala I Hamam mahala, zbog blizine javnog kupatila hamama. Kompleks kuće čine: kuća sa čardakom, mutvak ili ljetnja kuhinja, nova kuća, avlija sa avlijskim zidovima i bašta.
