Family-friendly vacation rentals in Blackfoot River

I have stayed in some very charming Air Bnb’s in Missoula but this was my favorite! Location is great and safe, the kitchen was well stocked with anything you would need, the bed was comfortable and best of all, the views were fantastic from the deck and every window in the unit! So much natural light! PS - really enjoyed the dog, so sweet and gentle!

My stay here was phenomenal, Rae was an amazing host and the home was great. I used to live in the same area of this place and the views here never get old the farm like feel made me feel right at home. needless to say I'd gladly stay here again!

Beautiful accommodations with a serene setting. The lodge was well equipped for our family stay. Games and books aplenty! It is a 30 minute dirt road to get to the lodge, but so worth it.

We loved staying with Donna and Jim. They made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed talking to them about Montana and their lives there. They made wonderful breakfasts for us each morning. This was the second year we stayed with them. We highly recommend staying with them. Ellen Bishop and Bruce Rose

Great little cabin. Clean, comfortable and cozy. I liked the mountain vibe and uniqueness of the space. Super easy to get to Discovery Ski Area and hiking/cross country trails.

Amazing host! Super sweet considering we slept past our checkout which is entirely my fault! The home was beautiful and a great spot to decompress not to mention they’re dog friendly! Amazing place. 10/10 would recommend over and over again! Great communication and a lovely space!

We had a wonderful stay here for the holiday with extended family. Great place for the young cousins to get together. They loved the ping pong table and the downstairs was perfect for their D&D campaign! Couldn’t have found a better place. Thank you!

Our group was traveling to attend two weddings in Missoula and we needed a great, walkable location for our weekend adventures. Janna's place was the perfect spot to reconnect with our group. The space was divided beautifully into some great (kid friendly) bedrooms and play areas. The neighborhood is lovely! Janna communicated with us so well and in such short order. Lovely spot walkable to downtown and UM. The space is cute and furnished with lots of fun stuff to give it a unique vibe (not the sometimes sterile Airbnb experience). Ann’s directions were clear and it was great to have off-street parking. Highly recommend!

Agatha, was very responsive and left nice note. She let me check early due to my flight being early. The bed was comfy and everything was really clean. It was nice she had shampoo and lotion. Definitely coming back

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Doug and Candace's place! It was the perfect space to relax after our daily adventures in Missoula. The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and quiet. The backyard was so relaxing and peaceful, and we enjoyed the back deck. We also appreciated that it was within close enough proximity to downtown shops and the River Trail. We were able to walk and bike everywhere! Cinna was helpful throughout our stay. We appreciated her finding us a place to secure our bicycles.. She also went above and beyond to contact us when we left an item behind. We appreciated all of the wonderful suggestions of fun things to do and places to visit as well. We will definitely return to Doug and Candace's place in the future!

Ali made our stay very easy and went above and beyond, letting us know where extra dog supplies were, checking everything was okay and even leaving us a nice bottle and bottle of wine for the holiday. I would very much recommend this stay!

We’ve stayed here before, it’s becoming our go-to spot when we come to Philipsburg. Right in the center of town walkable to everything and a short drive to the ski hill. Very clean and spacious for a studio. We’ll be back!

If you plan to do things in Missoula, this is a great location. For being on a somewhat busy street, one would never know it as it was quite peaceful inside the home. Would stay here again there was another opportunity.

During our stay the we had a problem that was in no way their fault, but they went above and beyond to help us with the problem and provide solutions. The place was clean, well maintained and very comfortable. One of the best Airbnb‘s. I’ve stayed at.

The Holmes cabin was perfect for our family of 4 grown ups. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook but the house was close to many great restaurants, as well. Bethanie and Marcel were great hosts. They were very interesting to talk to and, thanks to them, we were able to see the Northern Lights the night before we left. I’d highly recommend the Holmes Cabin if you’re planning a visit to Missoula.

Mariah was really good with communicating. She was also extremely accommodating & flexible. Her place is very cute and is stocked with cooking items like flour, sugar and even cream for coffee or tea. The bed was super comfortable!

Views from the condo were great! There was a park nearby . Plenty of eating spots within walking distance. Overall very good! Would stay there again.

Dennis met us as we got to the cottage and made sure we were comfortable with the place. Both he and Amy were great communicators and were very pleasant to talk with. Cottage itself was clean, comfortable, and quiet. It was perfect for our weekend and we will book again in the future.
