I celebrated New Year with 3 friends at Veronica's cottage. Everything was nice and clean, the cottage was complete, and there was a nicely decorated Christmas tree for us. The area is beautiful, and it is very quiet. Perfect for a week to find peace close to nature. Restaurants and supermarket can be prepared with a car, but not super close. We stayed in winter, then there is quite little to do in the region. We were super satisfied, and it was perfect for us to read books for a week, play games, cook, nature in, and be cozy with each other.

Getaway in the heart of nature

The apartment is modern, very tasteful and really furnished as new – we immediately felt comfortable. The area is wonderfully quiet, perfect for relaxing, even if there are not many activities in the immediate vicinity. Strasbourg is about an hour away, and Colmar is about an hour and a half. Nikolaus is a very nice and attentive host. We can definitely recommend the apartment!

A big thank you to Emilie and her father who were able to make us have a great stay thanks to their hospitality, kindness and thoughtfulness! Perfect place for relaxing and nice location to enjoy the hikes and nearby activities! It will also have been an opportunity to discover the Zazen meditation at the Buddhist Zen Temple of the village (by reservation)! We will definitely be back! Thanks for everything!!!

Great cottage ,very clean and very well equipped. No shops and restaurants nearby, a greenway to recommend. Great potential in terms of walking and maybe by bike but little info since there is no tourist office nearby. Quiet and cool place. Regret that checkout is as early as 10am. Recommended for a nice stay especially if the sun is out. We'll definitely be back.

A clean and cosy house with the loveliest of hosts. The owners have been very helpful and kind, they even welcomed us with delightful home-made Christmas cookies and coffee. The house is situated in a small village within driving distance to beautiful towns and walking trails of Moselle and the Elsas.

The slightly different room

We were in the Palatinate for a longer hiking weekend and were warmly welcomed by Sabine. We had a room with bed/table and a very large bathroom with sauna /lounge chair. That was a great surprise. On the last evening we also used the sauna and it worked perfectly. Sabine and her partner gave good tips for hiking huts and restaurants.

We spent several days at Nathalie's . The accommodation is very nice and warm. Everything is done to make you feel good . We were there so good that we were able to enjoy a relaxing day too , games are available to spend good times with the family . We also slept very well, in a quiet area . We had a wonderful stay at Caroline's. The highlights for us were the many games for children, the festive decoration, the warm wood fire, the positive energy of the house and the calm of the place. Very well equipped! clean, tidy and the most is that you will find the essentials for cook (salt, pepper, coffee,...) and also shower gel, shampoo, dishwashing liquid...etc... A lovely stay in a very well located village!

We stayed for 4 nights in the apartment and felt very comfortable there. Salvatore is a very likeable host and was always available. Although the house where the apartment is located is right on a main road, it is very quiet there. The apartment is at the back of the house in the basement and is surrounded by a small garden. On our next visit to Osthofen, we will be happy to stay in Salvatore's apartment again.
