It has a large sunny terrace with its own gas grill so you can enjoy outdoor food on late Southern evenings The apartment is located 100 meters from the sea and has child-friendly beaches only 5-10 min walk away:) The apartment is also only 20 - 25 minutes from the zoo.

Der finner du bakeri, dagligvarebutikker, apotek m.m Birkeland is known for its great hiking trails for the whole family. Salmon fishing in the Tovdalselva river is also possible in season. It takes 20 minutes to Kristiansand Zoo by car, 14 minutes to the southern village of Lillesand and 31 minutes to Kristiansand.

It was a very nice stay. Very warmly welcomed by Dietmar and his wife. Very sweet people. The B&B was perfect! We slept wonderfully because it was a very good bed. Also the bathroom with its own toilet and shower are very nice! Everything was very clean. Location is very good if you go by boat to or from Norway, because it is only 20 minutes by car. We will definitely remember this place for next time :)

We had a very nice time at the accommodation, and were very warmly welcomed by the hosts. The location is perfect because it is not far to the water and you can do a lot of paddling, hiking, etc.

Very nice apartment that contained everything we needed for our stay! Very convenient with both washing machine and freezer, where you can stay for a long time. Very cozy! Only thing that pulled down a bit was that it was very listening, so we heard well what happened upstairs. The host was very nice and quick to respond, I would definitely like to stay here again :)

Thanks for a great stay! The apartment was only a 12 minute drive from the zoo. Incredibly peaceful atmosphere, beautiful garden and an amazing view. The apartment was modern and clean, and the host went above and beyond and was super helpful and friendly. Definitely a nice plus to be able to enjoy the view from the jacuzzi. Would easily come back again.

Our stay at Joakim’s place was magical! The view was incredible and the cabin cozy and inviting. Joakim was responsive and friendly throughout the stay. We certainly hope to come back in the future!

We felt very comfortable in the house. The atmosphere was excellent. Nothing is missing. The children aged 4 & 6 also had a great time. There were plenty of toys inside and outside to entertain themselves with. We would love to come back again.
