To the east are the unique red mountains and Ørnerovet. The area offers a vibrant birdlife during the summer. The island offers many hiking, biking, and kayaking opportunities. Possibility to borrow a sit-on-top kayak on windless days. The energy sources in the cabin are gas, a wood-burning stove, and solar panels.

The place is located in the historical part of Brønnøysund and the house is over 100 years old. About 300 m to the shopping center and 50 m to the lake. The apartment is located in parts of the 1st floor, bedroom 1 has a 120 cm bed and bedroom 2 has a 150 cm bed. The apartment has a living room that can also be used as a sleeping area and a large bathroom. Small kitchen is shared by hosts and guests. The host lives upstairs.
