This rustic 2-story cottage, dating back over 100 years, has whitewashed stone walls and a wood-burning stove. This is an old farm hand house and it shares the same property with the main house. Gashes Fluss Haus is a 117 year old coach house. The first floor is made of stone. Please park along side the house, under the flower box. If there's anything you need, please message me. Surrounded by nature, the home is a short drive to downtown, West Asheville, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Getting downtown is a 7 minute drive. Uber is around 9 dollars. The cottage is on the same property as the hosts house.

I had a wonderful stay at Megan's tiny house in Asheville. The home was clean and smelled nice when I walked in. It was quiet, comfy, and perfect for my writing retreat. Also, I purchased her fresh veggie/fruit basket, great for cooking and snacking. Be aware that the residential streets leading to the garden and tiny home are narrow, so drive with caution.

An entryway is presented with a wooden ramp leading to a front door, surrounded by a gravel path and landscaped grass. The blue siding of the house contrasts with the natural greenery, and large windows allow ample light to enter.

We enjoyed our visit. We had two day pass to the biltmore and the estate entrance was two minutes away. It’s walkable to a great place for food called the corner kitchen and it was great! Our only complaint would be that one of the bathroom toilets isn’t working as well as it should.

PERFECT for my long term stay in Asheville. The Acorn is like a tiny home but with a huge deck and professional garden right outside the door. Randy is an excellent host. Kind, responsive and incredibly creative. Highly recommend his place.
