Great stay! Host was very responsive and helpful. Place was very nice with great views of the Kanchanjanga. Very easy to access Mall Road.

Avinay is an excellent host! He and his mother are super friendly and helpful. Avinay helped us plan our itinerary for the two days we stayed in Darjeeling. They also treated us to a sumptuous dinner on one of the nights we stayed there. They also took our requests for housekeeping. However, bathrooms in the property were disappointing and location was noisy and dusty.

Stayed for 4 nights and must tell you that it was very good experience. The place is comfortable and cozy, easy to reach, prominent location. And the view from rooms is something which very few places in darjeeling may offer. Kitchen was fully equipped. Mr. Aswath, the host, is very helpful, proactive ,very polite. Would recommend to everyone.

It was very fine place to live and the behaviour of staff was very nice . And I will appreciate the owner Mr.Manoj Ji he is a great guy helped a lot about the areas and very polite nature and always there to attend the calls and is very attentive. Liked the place.😊😊

Our recent stay at Darjeeling Dhiraj’s Homestay was truly delightful. Despite the homestay being located about 200 meters up a steep hill, it is manageable for us. My family, including my 65-year-old father, had no trouble reaching the homestay, and the effort was well worth it. The location offers a breathtaking terrace view, perfect for soaking in the serene beauty of Darjeeling. The amenities were well-maintained, and cleanliness was up to the mark, adding to the comfort of our stay. One of the standout aspects was the exceptional hospitality. The hosts were consistently responsible and helpful, ensuring that our visit was smooth and enjoyable. Their warm and accommodating nature truly made our trip more meaningful and comfortable. We sincerely appreciate the team at Dhiraj’s Homestay for their dedication to providing a pleasant experience. Looking forward to visiting again!

Nous sommes restés 3 nuits dans cet Airbnb, les hôtes sont très sympathique, accueillant, bienvaillant, à l'écoute, réactif... Ils nous ont bien aidez pour améliorer la qualité de notre voyage. Le lieu propose une très belle vue. Leur restaurant juste au dessus d'où l'on dormait été très bien et proposé des plats délicieux. Pour la propreté, le rangement, la vesselle... Tout était bien fait. Endroit fait pour être en famille, en ami ou même tout seul. Le rapport qualité prix est bien. Je recommande vivement cet Airbnb pour toute ses qualités. J'espère revenir bientôt !

I came here to get my mother treated. I did not face any problem in staying here. The atmosphere is very peaceful here and special attention is paid to cleanliness.

It was our First visit to Darjeeling, and we should say we never felt we were away from home. Thanks to Amit for providing such a wonderful experience through out our stay. food was really tasty and was served hot. Dining area was providing a great view of the town.

We had an awesome stay, the view from balcony is just beautiful. The caretaker are extremely helpful. My daughter had a fun time with Aradhya , she is yogita s niece. The food prepared by them was simple and tasty. They even helped us with luggage and cab booking. Just one advice while reaching the property enter the village from zoo side and not happy valley tea garden bcoz the road is very scary.

Our stay was good, the locality was really peaceful and we came to visit with baba dham and it was very near to the place. The house wss really amazing and host were very gracious towards us. I will highly recommend this place, if you want to visit baba dham

It was a family trip for us and we have very pleasant stay. Bhanu sir is really humble and helpful in nature. He guided us about the area, food, etc. and infact arrange pandaji also for scare free pooja in the temple. Otherwise it would be difficult. We are sincerely thankful to him for the good gesture. The location is very close to temple and market. All needs and groceries are nearby. Getting local transport is very very easy. Location is very close to main road still peaceful.

Laxmi ji's space was beautiful & spacious - far from the chaos of the main road but close enough to get a toto anytime. He was an extremely warm & friendly host & went out of his way to keep my father company when he had to stay back because of health issues while the others went sightseeing. He arranged for a helpful & trustworthy driver for us to reach Bakhtiyarpur station early morning & also stayed up for the entire night to see us off at 3 am. Bittu & didi took great care of us & fed us lovely home-cooked meals. There were 2 minor issues though. The listing said it had 2 washrooms while we were told there's only 1 washroom to be shared between the 3 of us when we reached. Ravi ji apologised for the miscommunication though. We were also a little surprised to see that we had been charged for 3 plates of each meal while we had asked for 2 plates of each meal since my mother barely eats one roti but it's a minor let-down compared to the great experience we had as a family.

It was pleasure to stay at oasis apartment hosted by praggya lama. First thing it was at walkable distance from all major places i.e zoological park is 5 min away, chaurasta mall road is 10 min walk darjeeling joy ride is also 3 kms from apartment. If you are travelling with senior citizens with knee problem it is the best place to stay. Host praggya was very nice and friendly in nature and helped every way possible also ambience of the homestay is good as shown in photos. Thank you praggya ji it was nice to meet you and will recommend others also in future.

I had an amazing experience staying at this Airbnb! The property, hosted by Shalini and Bhaskar, is located in a posh and easily accessible area of Kankarbagh. The room was well-equipped, spotlessly clean, and offered a peaceful, quiet environment — perfect for a relaxing stay. Here's a detailed review from our experience - The place was pretty easy to spot using GMaps and the guidance given by Mr Yougal. He's been extremely generous and hospitable throughout our stay. The house is equipped with possibly every utility one could think of. Every nook and corner has something to offer, extreme attention to detail. For instance, one can even find a large umbrella for those downpours (When you're not prepared! 😛). The living area is laden with items like snacks, tea, coffee, etc nicely tucked into the tight spaces. Location also is pretty central, one can easily find taxis to plan commutes anywhere in Darjeeling. Mr Yougal can help connect with friendly local cab drivers to plan any travel.

Fantastic place. Quiet (which was great as there was a festival on - rock- and this was out of the noise). The stroll into town was so enjoyable (note if walking is hard and being amongst the bustle is key then this might be a stretch). The views from two bedrooms are breathtaking- I’m not sure anywhere else would have this view. It was warm with lots of heating and hot water. Large kitchen. Large Lounge. Lots of places to be together or apart if you needed respite from each other. Very easy to communicate with. Everything works well.

Sereneties home is in a peaceful location with a stunning view of the mountains and towns below. The caretaker Urgen is a superstar who does his best to assist where he can. The place is a bit far from the Mall Road (about 30 minutes walk) but is in a quiet neighborhood. The place is clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. The place was good from inside. The look of the building from outside may not seem appealing as it's an old apartment, perhaps from 1930s. But, the house is beautifully decorated in the inside and offers an amazing view of the Kanchenjunga from every room. We had the entire place to ourselves, so it offers privacy. Hemanto, the caretaker was very responsive and friendly. He was always available for all our queries and everything we needed. I can't really thank Marina, the helper, enough. She helped us with the chores. She kept the house squeaky clean. I traveled with three senior citizens, one of them couldn't travel most of the days and stayed in, Marina heated and served her the food we kept and stayed till she ate. There are a few cons: - There are forty steep stairs to climb. This should be highlighted instead of just mentioning in a sentence in the long description. - The bathroom ceiling in the first bedroom is broken and the bathroom stinks.
