The place was ideal for our purposes. Phil was always easy to reach, we didn't miss anything. Beautiful fenced garden area with BBQ and Jacuzzi. Beds were great. Supermarket, restaurant, bakery, very easy to reach on foot. We had a good, relaxed long weekend with friends all around.

We felt very comfortable, the apartment is very lovingly furnished, we didn't miss anything.

We enjoyed our weekend in this beautiful home. Due to the presence of personal belongings, this home feels like "home". Some things are a little outdated and a little less clean, but the openness of the house and the beautiful garden make it all good. Oliver was very easy to reach and our problem with cold water was quickly solved (even on a holiday/Saturday). The region is also very beautiful for walks and bike rides. Highly recommended.

The house was just as described. The location great to us. In the morning, only the birds could be heard. At breakfast and dinner, we always had a visit from 3 blackbirds and two rabbits who were on the lawn. We were able to take beautiful bike rides. With our dog, it was only a few steps through the gate in the garden into the forest. We also liked the walks around the small lake. What was there to complain about? An open description for the TV might have been helpful. Maybe it was also in the drawer in the kitchen, where we also found the description for the oven. Which we needed, because the setting symbols on the rotary knob are printed very small on the side edge and you can't see them when you stand in front of the oven. But the manufacturer's designer messed that up. All in all, we have a quiet, beautiful vacation. Would have been too quiet for our children with the grandchildren

There were three of us in the cute house and there was plenty of room. Perfect location right by the forest in the immediate vicinity of the Externsteine and a lot of beautiful hiking trails through the Teutoburg Forest. Unreservedly recommended.

Staying in this beautiful half-timbered house is always a pleasure. The house looks fantastic and is wonderfully spacious. The surroundings are beautiful. Here you can stay in peace. From sunset onwards, we were able to watch deer on the other side of the Emmer every day. Absolutely recommended!

Very cozy house in the middle of the hills and forests between Detmold, Lemgo and Blomberg. Apart from Marcus on the ground floor, you have no neighbors and can do your own thing. The individual rooms are individually and lovingly furnished and you will find everything you need, including some opportunities to create a well-maintained noise. I can only recommend it. Dalborn as a pretty little village with a restaurant is within walking distance, the attractions of the area within 15-20 minutes by car.

The apartment is a very good starting point for hikes to the Externsteine or the Hermannsdenkmal. The city of Detmold with its open-air museum is also worth a trip. The apartment is very nice and is located in a quiet residential area. Sabine gave us excursion tips and was available any time. We had a relaxing vacation and felt very comfortable.

Really a great place to stay where I was allowed to stay for 6 weeks. It matched the photos, description, and my expectations, and you really feel right at home. Despite the very central location it is really quiet and it offers a great retreat. Rewe is less than a two-minute walk away and the train station is also within walking distance. Only in winter now it was quite fresh in the attic, but it can be endured. I would definitely like to come back again and enjoyed my time there!

This cozy apartment was the perfect base for us to hike a few stages of the Weserberglandweg with a toddler. The kitchen was well equipped, in the living room we could relax perfectly, we didn't miss anything. We were warmly welcomed by Delia and were always able to contact her if necessary. We only had a short stay. (2 nights) Our boys loved going to the pedestrian zone and moving after 4 hours of driving. As parents, we were able to enjoy the balcony. We can only warmly recommend this accommodation at Melanie's. Even if it is a bit far from Gütersloh: the trips are simply worth it.

We were in Bad Driburg for work and felt very comfortable. Questions were always answered quickly and they took care of them if something was missing.

We spent a very nice extended weekend in the old forest house and were very enthusiastic about the apartment, where nothing was missing (especially in the kitchen) and everything is visually so beautifully coordinated that you could only feel comfortable. We also particularly liked the garden and the location on the edge of the forest. You can start a hike directly, e.g. to the Dalheim Monastery or on the forest adventure trail. Helen's mother welcomed us very warmly and quickly answered and supported us with small questions. We will definitely come back when we are back in the area, it is a very relaxing place. We were allowed to spend very nice pleasantly quiet days in this house. The location is mega beautiful, secluded.. idyllic. Amenities are very consistent. Check-in and check-out was contactless. The house is exactly as described. What my previous writer wrote, regarding noisy... I can only confirm. It's really very noisy. But overall: mega nice. Thank you.
