I Stay with my family at Touch the Himalaya homestay for two month, was a Wonderful stay and everything was more than what we expected. The owner (Madan and His Family) really take care of each and every point, we loved this hospitality. The property has spectacular views of mountains and there are many nooks available to soak in the scenery. The other hand side, Madan is professional tour and trekking guide, he knows each and every tourist attractions, we roamed around the city with his advice. We loved spending time in the nearby areas whenever the weather allowed. We will surely remember this stay for years and plan for our next visit soon. Also recommend others friends who plan their long stay in Kathmandu.

Very peaceful neighborhood within the city. within the walkable distance from Thamel and other great restaurants in Lazimpat area. The place is very clean, just as in the pictures and as described. Very easy and flexible check in. It is a great deal.

I love this place! Riwaz was so helpful, he was here to meet me even though I arrived quite late in the evening. He's been a great host the entire time, so easy to communicate with. The space looks exactly like the pictures, the location is beautiful, super close to many temples and great restaurants, everything in walking distance. I loved staying here ✨

The homestay family really treated me like family Food, cleaning, and laundry stay without any inconvenience during your stay The host has a lot of experience on the sightseeing side, so it provides the necessary information such as tourist attractions, trekking, visa extension, etc.

We had a fantastic stay with Kate & Amrit. The flat is a great place to base to yourself. There are some fantastic amenities and local restaurants on your doorsteps. If you want to go into town it is only a short taxi ride away. We would highly recommend! Thank you Kate & Amrit :)

This charming, cozy room was located in a gated complex. There is a kitchen and bar located directly on the property that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Chef Nir will also be opening a bakery very soon. The location is one block behind the stupa and there is no shortage of restaurants and shopping. Sonam was exceptionally helpful in responding to my questions.

we were group of 10 people, stayed for 2 nights. Overall it was pleasant and cozy stay. House was very beautifully decorated and every small details was covered. The wooden work done inside the home was magnificent. Kitchen had all the dishes and appliances. Bijay ji himself was a great person to talk and was quick to respond. Major tourist attractions are nearby. I will surely recommend to others .

one of the comfortable and neat place for the long stay. well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds provided. wifi speed was good. local shops for grocery were just walkable. 8-10km from main city, finding cabs or shared transport is difficult. if u have your own vehicle then it's a must go property. arjun and madam was really helpful in all the means and they really looked after very well. Dawa and his family made me feel incredibly welcome from the moment I arrived. I had a wonderful time getting to know each of them and really felt like I was a part of their family during my time there; they are all very warm and generous. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. I was able to spend time in any areas of the house (including the roof which had a beautiful view) but also had my privacy if I needed it. Dawa made sure I had everything I needed, helped me to plan my days with great tips in and out of the city, and spent a whole day with me showing me around. The family was very generous in giving me rides in and out of the city and to the airport. I was able to learn a lot about Nepali culture by spending time with them, sharing meals with them (from their own garden) and experiencing their daily life. I would highly recommend staying at Dawa's homestay and hope I will be able to return there as well!

My son and I stayed at Rabin's unit for two weeks in February because my son was playing a tennis tournament nearby. About the place: We stayed at the unit with the attached kitchen and bathroom - the unit is exactly as in the photographs, clean, roomy and has a small kitchenette. Rooms were cleaned once a week, and fresh linen and towels were provided. What struck me the most is that Rabin is the most genuinely nice and helpful person I've met. For example, when my son's shoes gave way in the midst of the second week, Rabin personally assisted me in getting them repaired. Rabin, his lovely wife, and his wonderful parents made us feel at ease and safe - they took excellent care of us! added bonus: Rabin is a good cook!
