Direct access to beach from the complex, spacious open patio with a beautiful view of the sea, a relaxing fire pit adds a special charm to this unit. 2 small pets ( no exotic pets) allowed but please note no grass at unit only outside of unit and to please bring your pet bowls and blankets. There is no aircon in this unit but fans upstairs and in the lounge. There is space for 2 cars only.

Quiet neighborhood , this 3 bedroom 7 sleeper is perfect for a family who want peace and relaxation. Best suits a couple, traveling with children or teens. Sounds of nature (birds, monkeys and bush babies) can be heard as you sit around the fire pit. Children’s toys, cot etc available or request. Next door to playground and park, nanny available on request. Absolutely not suitable for parties, events or loud festivities (no music allowed).

Forest Villa

The Forest house within a super secure estate in Salt Rock is an oasis of tranquility. We stayed 9 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the large spacious home on the edge of the forest. We had so many spaces to enjoy, our favourite being the long verandah indoor/ outdoor space. We felt sheltered and so close to nature. The house had everything we wanted including a fully fitted kitchen with amazing oven and cooker. We popped over the road to the new salt rock centre where we bought groceries and cooked most meals at the house, including a BBQ/ Braai. We were very well taken care of by the house helper who came to clean every other day. It was great to have someone who knows the house well to answer any questions. One of my favourite features of the home are the downstairs rooms which all have fully retractable glass doors to open the house to the outside. Stunning!

We had never stayed in an Airbnb property before and so had no idea what to expect. However, The Lilypad surpassed anything we could have imagined. The house itself was beautiful and much bigger than it seemed in the photos and Derrick and Margi are the perfect hosts. The house is spacious and very well equipped. Even the monkeys turned up to watch us eating lunch in the garden one day. It was like a wildlife documentary in reverse! We could not believe their generosity in taking our children to the airport at 5.30am after we left! If all Airbnb properties and hosts are all like this then we are hooked. Wonderful stay! Pellagia, the housekeeper, was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. The accommodation was perfect for our family, with thoughtful touches like toys, kids' plates and bowls, and board games that kept the little ones entertained. The place was spotless when we arrived, and the daily cleaning service was fantastic. The beach towels and chairs were a lovely bonus. Big thanks to Catherine for making our stay so special. We highly recommend this accommodation!

We had the best time! The place is even more gorgeous than the photos — super light and airy, beautifully decorated, incredible ocean views and and an easy walk to the beach Amazing book collection — so many great reads for lazy afternoons. You can tell a lot of love and thought went into the space. Thulani was amazing — warm, welcoming, and always quick to help if we needed anything. Such a gem! It was the perfect beach break — peaceful, comfy, and totally recharging. Thank you very much, highly recommended.
