The location was so good. Near to everything we needed, the cultural places, the restaurants. The house was very clean and a lot of space. The host Steven was very helpful and kind. He recommend us very good eating restaurants that we enjoyed a lot. Everything was perfect.😊

I'm so glad that pur 2.5 week trip through the Balkans (Montenegro, Kosovo, North Macedonia and mainly Albania) ended at Luciano and Lorena's place in the unique ancient city of Berat. The house is beautiful and clean, with a mesmerising view. It's walking distance to everywhere. And most importantly - Luciano and Lorena were so friendly and welcoming and had such interesting life stories 😊 The food they cooked for us was DELICIOUS and I highly recommend it for dinner on the veranda. In short - EVERYTHING was perfect! Thank you for a wonderful closure of our trip and for recommending us to go to the Jewish Solomon Museum.

If you plan to stay in Berat, I highly recommend Elvira's place. Unfortunately, we could only stay one night but would always come back. Our navigation system annoyed us a bit on arrival as always and we had trouble finding the agreed location. Elvira received us there super warmly and guided us to the parking lot. From there, we had to go uphill a few more meters. I cannot recommend the place if you have walking difficulties. For everyone else, however, the path is passable. We were two adults, two toddlers, a baby, and a stroller. The property is located on the slope quite high up and the view from the terrace is very nice. The interior reminded me of my grandparents' house and I immediately felt comfortable. We were spoiled with desserts and lemons. It was very clean and equipped with everything you need. Thanks for the lovely stay and your warm nature.

Great place for great value! Beautiful views and comfortable space for a large group! The host was very responsive and helped us park the car since it is quite a walk up to the property. I wouldn’t recommend this place for someone with movement impairment.

the accommodation is nice, a little cold but we were there in early April and the heaters warmed the atmosphere. it is very very quiet. there is enough to do some shopping around. it is not the old town but it is quieter. Jusila was very responsive when I asked for her. be careful, for families with babies there is no microwave. excellent value for money.

We absolutely loved staying here - the house was exactly as described - even better actually! It was super clean, comfortable and had everything you could need (kitchen equipment, washing machine, bedding, towels etc)…The thought and care which has gone into making it a good home for guests really shines through. The pool and outside surroundings were beautiful - the pool was super clean and had lots of great floaties which our children loved. We were two families (7 in total) and we had lots of space and felt right at home. Valentino and his family are just divine! So friendly and hospitable - we were made to feel like family! We would love to stay again. It’s an easy 15 minute drive to Berat. We really will miss this wonderful home and family. Recommend staying here without a doubt - you’ll love it!

I was so happy to come back again to this place in Berat castle, I already spent 3 days in October 2024, and I came back again in March 2025 because I simply fell in love with this lovely spot in the world that actually looks like a peace of heaven.. I am speechless about the experience and I would definitely recommend it to everyone, I will come back again 🤍

The accommodation was a bit difficult to find, but thanks to the host’s instructions we were able to locate the villa quickly. Villa looks exactly like in the photos. The house is located in the centre and views are simply amazing. The only downside was the dirty dishes in the kitchen - we didn’t have to cook there but I can imagine that it could be unpleasant. Overall it was great experience

Overall, everything was fantastic. Great location, beautiful room and bathroom, and delicious breakfast! I would caution to NOT use the address listed in the Airbnb. Communicate with the host before hand.. the address is incorrect and took us to a very wrong location. Once the location was correct, everything was good, but do not use what the listed address is or you will find yourself at the top of the mountain at a dead end!

I was greeted with great kindness. Effi is very considerate, always attentive. She lives on site and is therefore very responsive to questions or communication. The bus station is right next door, it's convenient. The place is charming, with a fantastic breakfast, taken on a beautiful terrace. I felt at home! Thank you! Would definitely stay there again !

Great apartment. Great location. Great host. We were able to book last minute. Apartment had all amenities to cook which helped us a lot. Very clean with fast internet and English tv channels. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely come back.

I highly recommend it. We were very well received by the Father of Katerina, who, despite the linguistic difficulties, tried his best to help us. Several times he put us in contact with Katerina to help with communication. We were ending a very difficult and stressful journey across a mountain road, and Vladimir made us feel at home with his sympathy and the food and water he offered us. We were also surprised by the great breakfast that Vladimir prepared for us the next day, with typical Albanian products. The house may be a bit modest, but the affection and affection with which we were treated marked a lot by the positive.
