Very quiet and close to the castle. The way there was a bit challenging but doable. We could go everywhere by walk.

Two bedroom place that is very quiet at night and walkable to everything. Nice washing machine and good water pressure in the shower. Very clear instructions to access the apartment as well. We really enjoyed our time there and also had fun at the Nomad bar. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Elvira’s home for one night, and although we arrived quite late, we were welcomed with such warmth and kindness. Elvira is incredibly lively, loving, and thoughtful. She helped us carry our bags, treated us to delicious tres leches, and even stocked the fridge with fresh groceries. The house was spotless, well-maintained, and filled with a pleasant fragrance throughout. The next morning, we were delighted to meet three adorable turtles — a highlight for my little boy, who was absolutely thrilled. Overall, it was a truly wonderful stay.

Great place for great value! Beautiful views and comfortable space for a large group! The host was very responsive and helped us park the car since it is quite a walk up to the property. I wouldn’t recommend this place for someone with movement impairment.

The location was about 10 minutes from old town and walkable. We really liked the layout, with a private deck and the rooms segregated with a door to allow for more space and privacy. The host was helpful, proactive, and friendly with answering questions and providing instructions, and generous with check-in and check-out times. The only cons were that the address does not match Google maps so it was challenging for the local driver to find but the hostess was very helpful and accommodating in sorting it out, but just be forewarned. Also the shower is not separated from the rest of the bathroom so it can be messy, but this was prevalent throughout the country. Would definitely recommend this spot, many thanks to the host!

Great stay, the Airbnb is typical of the area and Berat is beautiful, we loved it! Dorian is very kind and took us one day to see the waterfall and canyon. If we had to do it again, we would take this Airbnb again. 😇 Thanks!

A great family run stay where Torez’s family made you feel right at home. When you stay in a house inside the castle, it’s a one of a kind place. The breakfast was sumptuous. The host friendly and the place totally authentic. The view from the balcony fantastic. Highly recommend it.

We were so comfortable and happy in this ‘little jewel’ of a restored stone house. We were 2 couples and the space was cozy but perfect. An outstanding feature was very well designed spaces with nooks, shelves, closets both in the bedroom and in bathrooms so there were places to stash personal items. Loved this walkable community. Very convenient access to property compared to a previous rental on other side where luggage had to be carried up steep, narrow streets. Would rent again.

Ganiel and his parents are absolutely friendly and helpful and welcomed us with a large fruit basket. The way to the apartment is a bit adventurous by car because the road is quite steep and rocky, but Ganiel was very helpful here and said which route is best to take. The bathroom is a bit spartan, but everything is very clean. In a relaxed 15 minutes you can walk to the castle of Berat, to the center you walk again approx. 10 minutes longer. I recommend the place.
