The property abuts 70 acres of preserved land, but is steps from Main Street and all the shopping, dining, and outdoor options that this lovely year-round tourist town has to offer.

Central heat, washer/dryer TV/Roku, ceiling fans. Great getaway for nature lovers, skiers, snowmobilers, hikers. Wifi.

One Bedroom Hotel suite with private entrance. This room sleeps 6. Bedroom has 1 King bed and a Bunk bed. Living room has a pull out Queen memory foam sofa and a wood burning fire place. We provide fire wood and fire starters. 1 full bath with bathtub and separate shower has towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and other toiletries. This unit also has a mini fridge, and microwave. We provide Keurig and K-cups, coffee creamer, tea, sugars and various snacks. Not pet friendly.

Chickadee cottage is located in the heart of the Woodford lake community, just across the street from the lake. Plenty to see and do near this mountain retreat. We are a short walk to the beach or continue on to miles of hiking trails. In the winter nordic ski at Prospect Mt. (1 mile) or downhill ski at Mt. Snow (19 miles). Any time of year enjoy casual eating or fine dining in Wilmington, Bennington or use the grill and eat out on the deck. A bonus: Woodford State Park is just down the road.
