We had a pleasant stay at Quiet Country Retreat, located right at the foot of Mount Alexander. The accommodation is great for a couple and has a separate living room and fully equiped kitchen. The verandah is a great place to relax with abundant bird sounds. Castlemaine is just a short drive away and has lots of food options.

Big, big thanks to Demi. The house was fabulous, with everything you could need for a relaxed, comfortable stay. It is sparklingly clean, with a well equipped kitchen, cosy comfy beds and super effective heating for the very chilly nights. And we really appreciated Demi’s warm inclusion of our pooches. Without hesitation we would book again.

Anthony's place was lovely and very central. It was very easy to find and check in. We only stayed the one night, but would definitely come back.

Our stay at Andreas Golden Square property was beyond our expectations, we were extremely happy with the property and service. Beds were amazingly comfortable, there was nothing you could add to make the stay easier or more comfortable. Host was so helpful and accommodating, we felt welcomed and enjoyed our stay there thoroughly. Highly recommend!

Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house! The property was recently renovated with a touch of luxury that made it feel extra special. Communication, though fully automated, was clear, prompt, and incredibly helpful. Getting into the house was a breeze with the keyless entry system—super convenient and no need to worry about carrying keys around. The location was perfect—everything we needed was just a 4-minute drive away, which made exploring and running errands so easy. Overall, the home was stylish, comfortable, and in a great spot. We absolutely loved our stay at Bradley’s property! The house was spacious and airy, offering a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. The swimming spa was a delightful touch, and we had great fun with the pool table in the attic. It was also fantastic to have TVs in 4 of the rooms, all equipped with streaming services and backed by reliable WiFi. The short drive to local shops, Lake Eppalock, and Bendigo provided a perfect balance of a peaceful, 'off-grid' vibe while still staying close to everything we needed. We highly recommend this place for anyone seeking tranquility, with the occasional kangaroo sighting to cap off the evenings.

We stayed one night here, but wished we had longer. The surroundings are beautiful and the cottage is delightful. Cynthia was very welcoming and even turned a light and the heating on for us as we were arriving late and it was getting cold.

Heathtopia was a wonderful place to stay. Janelle was super easy to communicate with and responded really quickly to my queries. We ran out of gas for our hot water and she came over within fifteen minutes and solved the problem which was very much appreciated. The house is immaculate and we greatly appreciated the complimentary bottle of red that went with it. Highly recommend!

perfect little spot in Hepburn, Sharee was flexible and the place was so easy to check in to, even at 8pm in the dark (they left the lights on for us) bedrooms are get, multiple bathrooms and overall just a spacious environmental! One thing i will mention, coffee and tea is not provided at this house, so bring your own!

The airbnb was a great find - it is within a historical significant building that oozes of character. The unit itself was spacious and comfortable. It could have easily hosted 3 couples. The location was close to town so it was a great place to set base camp for visiting Bendigo. We would visit again!

We were so impressed as a family how awesome this placed would be, the kids played Pool, ping pong, took advantage of all the activities offered, it was so well thought out, being able to bring our 2 dogs was amazing, we walked them everyday and they loved exploring. We had an unforgettable stay at Noonanmeena, a stunning passive house set on 20 picturesque acres in Redesdale. The property is beautifully situated, backing onto the Coliban River, with easy access to Redesdale town center, just a short drive away. It's also conveniently located—only 25 minutes from Heathcote and 20 minutes from Lake Eppalock. The house itself is fantastic—spacious, comfortable, and perfect for families. Whether we were relaxing on the deck or taking a dip in the pool, watching the sunset was an absolute highlight. John was an exceptional host—welcoming, accommodating, and great to communicate with. Thank you for making our long weekend truly special—we can't wait to return!

We had the most amazing time there, and Marina and Malcolm have honestly been the best hosts we’ve ever had through Airbnb. They were incredibly kind, thoughtful, and helpful from start to finish. The cottage was absolutely immaculate—spotless, cozy, and perfectly prepared for our stay. The location is stunning, surrounded by peaceful nature, with breathtaking views, birds, and even kangaroos! We especially loved spending time by the fire pit and relaxing with our dogs in such a serene and magical environment. To top it all off, Marina and Malcolm went above and beyond by baking us fresh bread and leaving us a variety of delicious treats to enjoy. It was such a warm and generous gesture that made us feel truly special. If we could rate this stay 100 stars, we absolutely would. Jade’s place is a peaceful country cottage, beautifully set up and spotlessly clean. We had a very comfortable stay and loved being able to wake up to the cluck of chickens and Jade’s lovely big horse whinnying good morning. Though Jade’s farm is obviously out of town, it’s an easy 15 mins drive into the nearest town for supplies, and the cottage is fully prepped for home cooking. Jade was well organised with communication, and check in and out was super easy. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a quiet farm stay.
