Very good stay at Jean-Pierre's, the accommodation was very comfortable, because of the weather we were not able to enjoy the small terrace but in summer it must be very pleasant. The riverside is within walking distance for a stroll. Jean-Pierre responded quickly and was proactive. I would highly recommend it!

We had a great time at the trapper's cottage. Although we were afraid of being cold when we arrived at the accommodation, we contacted Genessee upon arrival who was very responsive and came to help us turn on the wood burning stove. The space heated very quickly and throughout the stay the indoor temperature was warm even without the wood burner being turned on. Great environment with walks in the estate and up to the reserve where you can see deer. The cottage may seem small from the outside when you arrive, but in reality it is very spacious and large in depth. There were 8 of us and we had plenty of space. Change of scenery and tranquility assured. We would definitely recommend Genessee's homes, which is very friendly, warm and caring.

The house is very cozy and in an excellent location. The sun comes up over the St. Lawrence in the morning and the neighborhood is very quiet and private. The house has a home feel to it versus a sterile hotel room feel. Thank you for a nice stay!

The house is nice and very comfortable, large enough to accommodate a family of 10 without being cramped. The windows allow you to enjoy the beautiful river view. The exterior is well maintained and the grounds are private. Everything is very clean and the house is fully equipped. Our favorites in addition to the view of the St. Lawrence: the fireplace and the piano. We'll be back!

Great spot. cute house. beautiful location by the river. Nichole is a super host. If using as a base camp for snowmobiles it is almost a mile of road riding and neighbors walking or even driving by don't seem pleased.

We very much appreciated the calm and snowy landscape offered by this chalet located in front of the Rivière des Chaudières. This stay was a real break from tranquility, allowing us to do nothing and recharge our batteries to the fullest. Simon responds quickly and clearly, making communication smooth and enjoyable. We highly recommend this getaway for a relaxing moment in nature!

We went with a few families to the cottage and we really enjoyed it. The view is beautiful and it was very quiet! Even though the weather conditions were not optimal we played board games and the children had plenty of space to have fun! Thank you & we'll be back for sure :)

I don’t know how to convey our delight and satisfaction with Bernard and Francine as our hosts. They met us at check in and spent a great deal of time going over everything and recommending sights, experiences and eating establishments. We felt so at home in their beautiful home and so appreciated their amazing hospitality. Thank you so very much. We will be back again and again!!!

We had wonderful 4 days at Yves place. Layout is very smart. Wonderful windows and light. Bed very comfortable. Happily cooked in the kitchen. It is well positioned to walk to the old city and along the St. Lawrence River. On the other side of the Marina is an urban garden with the most amazing veggies. We had wonderful neighbors during out stay in the sister house boat next to us. Looking forward to coming back.

The accommodation is aptly named! Beautiful sunrise over Quebec City and the St. Lawrence, accompanied by the song of the bustards. The view alone is worth the trip and the accommodation is very comfortable.

We loved this location! It was an easy walk to restaurants and shops. The boat was clean and had a great view of the city. Yves was an excellent host…very attentive to questions. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again!

Very nice location with exceptional views. We were disappointed and surprised to discover that the 3rd bedroom was not a closed bedroom and that it was only partitioned by curtains which was not ideal for privacy and to avoid the noises of the rest of the cottage. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay

Exceptional stay in winter in this very cozy and warm chalet. The view of the Saint Laurent is crazy and transforms every day . Access may seem complicated but in the end there is no problem and if the ice threatened to prevent us from passing our host immediately ordered a snowmobile. We recommend for the location! Outside for aquatic enthusiasts, everything is there. Terrace with fireplace, etc... as shown in the photos. If you are looking for calm, the dock by the lake will delight you; the house is located in the heart of the village which is quite busy and noisy during the day (that's life) but around 8:00 p.m. everything is quieter; everything is central, everything is done on foot, grocery store, etc... You won't have a view of the lake from inside, you have to leave the house and go to the grounds. There was only one exit from the house, no emergency exit, maybe the windows adjacent to the sidewalk were one. I enjoyed my stay, the hosts were very helpful and I recommend it to everyone according to your needs, everything is there.
