Ironwood Ridge: new container home in the woods

Ironwood Ridge: An elevated Up North retreat! This unique container home (built in 2025) spans two levels overlooking an old growth white cedar forest. Experience modern comfort in this industrial cosy designed space with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. A spacious deck provides a relaxing outdoor oasis. Enjoy cosy evenings around the fire pit. Within 5 minutes of Shanty Creek's five golf courses, Schuss Mountain, 10 minutes to downtown Bellaire (Short's) and Lake Bellaire, 15 minutes to Torch Lake.

The Twig, near Lake Bellaire

This cottage is unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. The Twig is a tiny, one-bedroom, 480-square foot cottage on property near Lake Bellaire. Living room/kitchen down, bedroom/bath up. Sofa bed in living room. Very private and an easy 5-minute walk to the lake. AC upstairs. The cottage, again, is tiny, and best suited for a single person, a couple, or a couple with children. Two couples might find it awkward. Well-behaved dogs are welcome for $20. There is a two-night minimum stay.

Welcome to the A-frame at Finch Creek. A one-of-a-kind Northern Michigan getaway overlooking Finch Creek and completely surrounded by the Grass River Natural Area. We renovated this 1970s cabin from the ground up and designed it to feel open and connected to the landscape. With 20-foot vaulted ceilings, massive picture windows, a fireplace to curl up next to, and just minutes from some of the most stunning lakes in the state, it’s the perfect home base for exploring or doing nothing at all.

The House on the Hill

This house is located outside Alden. It sits on 35 acres and is 1/4 of a mile from the road. The location is rural, secluded and quiet. There is ample parking for boats and recreational vehicles. The view from the deck is spectacular, you can see out over 10 miles. It's private and has a wide wraparound deck, with a covered area at the front. It's perfect for grilling, relaxing and watching the sky after a day out. The kitchen is open and provides a lot of space for food preparation.

It’s located about 7 miles from Bellaire and Shorts brewery as well as torch lake. It’s about 45 minutes from traverse city, Charlevoix and Petoskey.
