Family of 4 on a road trip from the UK. Barbara’s place was such a welcome after a few days of travelling. Instructions were clear and easy to follow, exactly as described, we actually felt the accommodation was a lot more spacious than expected, it was clean and comfy. Great access into Blankenburge, we walked over the tram line and along the beach path into the town for the evening. Highly recommend!

Le logement était très agréable mais un peu cher pour un week-end en basse saison. j'aurais aimé épargner le nettoyage et le réaliser moi-même mais le cadre était très bien.

Wir, drei Erwachsene und ein 4-jähriges Kind, hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Mai. Das Haus ist geräumig, sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Man hat sich direkt wohl gefühlt. Besonders gut war: Gefrierfach vorhanden, top ausgestattete Küche an Geschirr und Koch-Zubehör. Verdunklung mit Klappläden möglich. Toilette ist separat, also nicht im Badezimmer. Viele Spielsachen für drinnen und draußen vor Ort. Garten ist komplett eingezäunt. Große Terrasse mit Markise. Privater Parkplatz am Haus, 1 min zu Fuß bis zum Spielplatz, 15 min zu Fuß bis zum Strand. Am Strand selbst gibt es kostenlose Parkplätze. Erika ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin, immer erreichbar, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Nicht so gut: Kühlschrank ist etwas klein. Kein Geschirrspüler. Aber es hat nicht wirklich gestört, wir kamen sehr gut zurecht. Die Lage ist super um die Küste und Städte wie Brügge und Gent zu erkunden. Geschäfte, wie zB Aldi und Lidl, sind 3 min entfernt. Wir kommen gerne wieder !

We hebben er een heerlijk lang weekend gehad met onze 2 kids van 5 en 6. Het huis heeft een aantal fijne plekken om (ook buiten) te zitten en de zwemvijver is goed bereikbaar via de achtertuin. Verder was de communicatie met Merel echt top, dus het is wat ons betreft echt een aanrader!

I stayed for a week in this great location and cozy house. The area is peaceful and perfect for hiking in nature. The house is well-equipped and has everything you need for a comfortable holiday. Gregory is a very friendly and helpful host. I would love to stay in this house again next time.

Schönes, friedliches Häuschen! Da man niemanden unmittelbar unter oder über sich hat, und auch die Nebenhäuser etwas Platz dazwischen haben, konnten wir problemlos Musik machen, ohne irgendjemanden zu stören! Etwas schade ist, dass die Lebensmittel in der Gegend extrem teuer sind, gefühlt 2-3x so hoch für vergleichbare Sachen wie in Deutschland. Aber eine kurze Recherche hätte das vorher ausgeräumt, deswegen wollen wir das hier nicht negativ anrechnen. Check-In ist sehr unkompliziert, man gibt einfach einen Code am Schlüsselkasten ein. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig und als wir da waren (Mitte Mai) schon fast zombieartig verlassen, also definitiv was für alle, die sich mal von Menschen fernhalten wollen :D

Sehr schön eingerichtetes Haus am Rand einer Siedlung mit nahezu identischen Ferienhäuschen gelegen. Ruhig, gute Infrastruktur. Ort und Strand gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Zwei Fahrräder, mit denen man auch die Umgebung erkunden kann. Wir haben es sehr genossen

Very lovely stay! The pool is heated very well and the area is lovely to walk around or cycle! We also utilized the bbq and it was lovely to spend time with family in this beautiful area. The only thing to note is there are a lot of ticks as you are truly in nature so definitely bring deet and a tick pen! This is to be expected in any forest/countryside area though and we would definitely come back. Caroline responded very quickly and all the instructions and house rules were extremely clear. We would definitely recommend!

Super mooi vakantiehuis. leuk ingericht, veel speelgoed en dergelijke voor de kindjes. Echt aan het comfort van de gasten gedacht. Een aanrader!

nous avons passé 3 nuits et le logement était super, le cadre est très agréable en pleine forêt tout en étant accessible à plusieurs lieux de visite au alentour. nous n'avons pas rencontré de difficulté du logement les instructions était clair et Claudine nous a transmis pleins d'informations et a été indulgent concernant le paiement complémentaire pour le chier. je recommande vivement ce logement.

Tout était parfait pendant mon séjour, de l'arrivée au départ ! Propriétaire à l'écoute, réactif et très aimable, nature paisible avec des oiseaux qui chantent en permanence, une impression d'être dans un endroit hors du temps tellement il y fait calme et à quel point c'est cosy ! Gielen est facilement accessible à pied avec ses commerces et beaucoup de promenades possibles alentour. Un tout grand merci pour cet accueil parfait, j'ai déjà hâte d'y revenir !
