Emily is a wonderful hostess who went out of her way to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Her breakfasts were generous and always had fresh, new and interesting items to tempt… including cheeky chocolate chunks! The accommodation is also generous with plenty of space and, weather permitting, a lovely garden to enjoy. The position is also excellent, providing easy access to many of Belgium’s cities and attractions if you want to avoid moving from place to place. We highly recommend Emily’s place and plan to return in the future.

We hebben vier heerlijke nachtjes gehad in de Shelter. Op basis van het adres is het moeilijk te vinden maar de locatie die je kan opvragen via AirBnB leidt je wel naar de bestemming. Eenmaal daar is een beetje onduidelijk of we direct het huisje in konden maar nadat we aangebeld hadden konden we direct naar binnen. Het huisje is klein maar heel fijn, voorzien van alles. Hoogtepunt is de haard in het midden van de ruimte, die na een half uurtje stoken de ruimte heerlijk verwarmt. Er was bij ons voldoende hout aanwezig. Ook hangt er een airco die de ruimte bijvoorbeeld 's ochtends snel kan verwarmen. Deze ruikt wel enigszins naar haardvuur, misschien moeten de filters hiervan eens vervangen worden. De badkamer is erg koud en moeilijk te verwarmen, de vloer van de douche is bijna te koud om op te staan. Uiteindelijk heeft dit voor ons geen problemen opgeleverd. Het centrum van Gent is 20 minuten verwijderd en daarmee een leuk bezoek. Al met al heel tevreden en aan te raden!

Abbiamo soggiornato in 4 solo per un weekend, ci siamo trovati benissimo. L'appuntamento è molto confortevole, pulito e ben accessoriato. La zona è tranquilla ma ben servita e permette di raggiungere agevolmente i vari punti di interesse. Ottima la colazione preparata da Cheo che ringrazio per la cortesia e disponibilità. Great location for exploring Bruges. The arrival and checkin instructions were clear and easy. I huge breakfast of cheese, meat, and yogurt was provided the first day. The space is laid out with a kitchen and small sitting room on the ground floor. The first floor has a full bathroom and bedroom. The attic is up some steep stairs. It has a sitting area, 2 twin beds, and a queen bed. All levels were very comfortable when we stayed in April

We hebben heel erg genoten van ons verblijf. De prachtige natuur en de mogelijkheid om te genieten van de kleine dingen (zoals worsten bakken op een vuur), ons verwarmen aan de open haard, maar ook het comfort van de bedden. Er was ook oog voor de kinderen. Zij hebben ook genoten en willen graag nog eens terugkomen. Heel erg bedankt!

Heerlijk verblijf gehad in de gite van Aline. De jacuzzi was warm bij aankomst en ook in de sauna was het perfect. De raclette als avondeten en het ontbijt waren royaal en tot in de puntjes in orde, aan alles was gedacht. Een aanrader voor iedereen die even wil ontsnappen aan de dagelijkse drukte en zich wil laten verwennen. De welness is volledig privé en dit midden in de natuur. Aline heeft een warme persoonlijkheid waardoor we ons meteen thuis voelden. We hebben een heel leuk verblijf gehad!

Das Apartment ist wunderbar gemütlich und praktisch zugleich. Es ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und super sauber und gepflegt! Das tollste an dem Apartment sind aber die Besitzer Nidhal und Lieven- absolut gastfreundlich, hilfsbereit, aufmerksam und großzügig! So wartete beispielsweise ein gefüllter Kühlschrank auf mich-wie wunderbar! Einfach toll die beiden! Diese Unterkunft ist absolut empfehlenswert!

Maison très propre spacieuse et calme ; le garage est un plus pour la voiture mais aussi les vélos. Literie confortable. Les équipements de cuisine fonctionnent mais le réfrigérateur fait parfois un bruit d'hélicoptère surprenant et le four encastré mériterait d'être fixé. Bonne communiction avec Valérie, très réactive.

Wir wurden persönlich begrüsst, als wir angereist sind. Unterkunft war wie auf den Fotos abgebildet und wie beschrieben. Alles sauber und rein. Perfekt für Übernachtungen vor oder nach einem Trackday auf der Rennstrecke von Spa. Frühstück inbegriffen, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Alles war prima.

We had a wonderful stay with Amaryllis. The house is unique and beautifully decorated, set in a quiet yet very central location. Like most tall ceiling houses the staircases were a little steep but this just adds to the charm. Breakfast was served in her airy dining room with lots of thought put in. Amaryllis and her mother were very welcoming and hospitable. We will be back!!

Fantastisch!! De gastheren zijn super lief: bij ontvangst hebben we zo'n anderhalf uur gezellig geborreld en ze waren gemakkelijk te bereiken bij vragen. En zó schoon! Zo schoon heb ik een b&b nog niet gezien. Niet te vergeten: het uitzicht... hier zijn geen woorden voor! Ook het ontbijt wordt tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Er zijn twee kleine kanttekeningen. Ten eerste: helaas is het gordijn lichtdoorlatend. Wij waren op onze eerste vakantie zonder onze kleine kinderen en hoopten bij te kunnen slapen. Dit was de eerste nacht helaas mislukt - we waren wakker sinds het buiten licht was. Na het kopen van een oogmasker was dit opgelost. Ten tweede: wanneer je op zoek bent naar een accomodatie waarin je volledig op jezelf bent, is deze accommodatie minder geschikt. Hoewel de lieve gastheren er alles aan doen je privacy te geven, staat de 'eigen' ingang in open verbinding tot hun woonkamer. Eric's werkkamer ligt direct naast de slaapkamer (we hoorden hem bellen) en er zit geen slot op de deur.
