We had a great time at Flora’s place! From the start Flora and Vero made us feel at home. There were tons of board games, legos, and retro video games for some quality time, and the outside area with a pool was perfect for a relaxing weekend. Vero’s food was amazing, definitely try the lemon pasta and the profiteroles. The location is very peaceful, it’s a small town in the middle of Alentejo and it’s a short drive from places like Castro Verde and Aljustrel.

Ein Paradies. Wir haben mit unseren 2 Kindern (8 und 5 Jahre) 4 Nächte auf der Quinta übernachtet. Es gibt 2 kleine Häuschen zum übernachten auf dem Gelände und viel zu entdecken. Morgens gibt es ein fantastisches Frühstück das von der sehr lieben Hausherrin Joana zubereitet wird. Der Garten ist voll von Orangen und Zitronenbäumen und überall duftet es nach den zahlreichen Blumen und Sträuchern. Alles ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail angelegt und gestaltet. Abends saßen wir mit den Kindern um die Feuerstelle und hben Marshmallows gegrillt. Auch die beiden lieben Hunde haben wir ins Herz geschlossen. Der Standort der Quinta ist gut. In 20 bis 25 Minuten kann man mit dem Auto die wunderschönen Buchten von Porto Covo erreichen. Abwechslung bietet auch die Black Pig Gin Farm in der Nähe oder aber man läuft einen Teil des Fischerpfades. Auch auf der Quinta werden ab und zu Yogakurse angeboten, man kann den Leseraum nutzen, grillen oder in den erfrischenden Pool springen. Sobald ich die Tore

Excelente relação qualidade preço. Local extremamente acolhedor, calmo, num monte Alentejano muito perto da costa, ideal para fugir da rotina da cidade e ter contacto com a natureza e campo. Adoramos a simpatia dos anfitriões. Poderá ser menos agradável para quem não goste de campo, pois encontrará todos os animais lá existentes, mas basta seguir os conselhos e dicas dados caso não esteja habituado ao campo.

Wer es ein wenig abenteuerlich mag, ist bei Lucie hervorragend aufgehoben. Der Wohnwagen ist blitzsauber und liebevoll ausgestattet, die Außendusche ein Luxus in freier Natur und das WC mit Holzspäne absolut geruchlos. Die von Lucie angebotenen Mahlzeiten sind durchdacht und reichlich, wir empfehlen, alles zu buchen. Lucies Hundefamilie und die lustigen Schweine sollte man unbedingt besuchen. Wir sind den Fishermans Trail gewandert und Lucie hat uns sehr flexibel abgeholt und wieder ausgesetzt. Das BNB war ein Höhepunkt unserer Reise, wir empfehlen es herzlich weiter.

Foi uma estadia incrível! Adoramos! O facto de ser petfriendly fez com que levássemos a nossa companhia e tornou tudo ainda mais perfeito! Foi incrível vê-la a brincar com os cães da casa!! O acolhimento foi muito familiar e deixaram-nos à vontade para o que quer que seja! Existe um trilho pelo terreno muito agradável com vista panorâmica pela barragem! Foi P E R F E I T O !! Procuramos um sítio de relaxamento total e superou as expectativas ( levar logo comida suficiente para a estadia) o Alípio também ajuda no que for necessário! Foi perfeito, pena que não experimentamos os desportes aquáticos a que temos à disposição, pois o tempo não ajudou. Mas voltaremos para ver toda essa experiência agradável!

Vou começar pelo fim, pois diz tudo. Poucos metros depois de arrancarmos, começámos a recordar em silêncio cada momento que ali passámos e a encarar aos poucos o "mundo real" à nossa frente. Nunca o silêncio foi tão ruidoso. Foi como um amor de verão que um adolescente tem de deixar para trás. Dentro de nós, gritava um enorme e desejo de ficarmos, para sempre! Foi apenas um fim-de-semana. Mas o tempo no paraíso parece esticar e conseguimos viver muito mais do que esperávamos. O espaço é maravilhoso, toda a quinta está construída com amor e detalhe. O local é envolvido de uma paz e tranquilidade que nunca pensámos existir de forma tão remota e ao mesmo tempo tão próxima, aqui, em Portugal. Tanto verde e tanta vida ao nosso redor, em pleno Alentejo. Tanta serenidade e tanto silêncio, que nos permite escutar as estrelas à noite. Tanto lago, mesmo aos nossos pés, para nos perdermos e reencontrarmos. Tanto para contar! O melhor, mesmo, é ir e viver. Nós vamos voltar.

Que maravilha!! Queríamos terminar as nossas férias num sítio isolado em comunhão com a natureza, e não poderia ser melhor que o espaço da Graça. Próximo do rio mira, um autêntico vale encantado, com gatinhos e cavalos como visitas regulares noturnas. O céu estrelado e acima de tudo o silêncio, o silêncio que não existe o ano inteiro. A Graça foi uma anfitriã incrível, extremamente simpática e prestável. Sinto que poderia ficar nas Casas da Cerca por tempo indeterminado.

A Catarina foi super querida e abriu-nos a porta da sua casa para fazermos o bolo de aniversário (que acabaram por ser 3, um deles feito pela própria. E que bom que estava!). Mio marito ed io abbiamo trascorso qui un soggiorno che ha corrisposto perfettamente ai nostri desideri: avere una base in un luogo autentico e confortevole per le nostre piccole gite in giornata alla scoperta di spiagge e scenari naturali indimenticabili. Ciò che non osavamo aspettarci era un’ospitalità di gran classe, che la padrona di casa ha orchestrato magistralmente. Comprensiva e proattiva nell’aiutarci a rendere possibile una mezza giornata di smartworking, profonde grazia in tutto ciò che fa. Il decor delle stanze, frutto di una ristrutturazione recentissima, ha la delicatezza estetica della carta velina e garantisce un alto grado di comfort. Gli spazi comuni, tra cui una veranda attrezzata a soggiorno, sono perfetti per il relax degli ospiti. L’ampio giardino della proprietà sconfina nella campagna circostante e nella vicina zona boschiva. Ristoranti e negozi di prima necessità sono raggiungibili in 5 minuti d’auto.

Von der freundlichen Begrüßung über die liebevolle und freundliche Betreuung kann man sich dort nur wohlfühlen. Selbst, wenn das Wetter die Poolnutzung nicht hergibt, kann man in der Umgebung viele tolle Sachen entdecken (Korkeichenwälder, Safaripark, Gin-Themenpark, Santiago do Cacem, viele tolle Strände, etc.). Auf dem Hof ist es ein Highlight für Kinder (und Erwachsene), sich auf das Pferd zu schwingen und die Gegend auf dem Rücken des Pferdes zu erkunden. Ein Highlight war auch der frische Kaffee jeden Morgen vor der Tür! Vielen Dank! Für das Frühstück stellt Sylvie am Anfang eine Ausstattung zusammen, aber bspw. Brot muss nachgekauft werden. Die Supermärkte sind aber gut erreichbar (Lidl, Aldi, viele weitere). Immer wieder gerne!

Fui com a minha mãe visita o espaço. Ficámos duas noites e foi tudo maravilhoso. A cama é extremamente confortável. O espaço, entre um hostel e um hotel, faz-nos sentir em casa. Tem duas salas onde pudemos ver tv antes de subir para o quarto. A cozinha tem tudo o que foi necessário para cozinhar duas pequenas refeições e a área exterior é maravilhosa. 10/10.

Wer es gerne abgeschieden und ruhig mag ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gegend ist eh schon abgelegen UND dann fährt man nochmal 2 km über einen steinigen Feldweg und ist dann wirklich gefühlt im Nirgendwo (Patrick holt einen an der Hauptstraße ab). Zimmer und alles andere wie beschrieben, wir hatten den höchsten Luxus der Einfachheit und trotzdem war alles vorhanden - sauberes Wasser aus eigener Quelle, Strom, gute Luft, ein herrlicher Sommerabend... Dazu ein toller Gastgeber der sehr aufmerksam ist und das ganze Haus einfach unglaublich kreativ und durchdacht gestaltet hat. Seine beiden Hunde sind super gut erzogen, kein Gekläffe oder Gebell in der Nacht (der Hund des Nachbarn war zu hören, aber die beiden haben nicht darauf reagiert, auch nicht selbstverständlich). Wenn ich/ wir wieder in der Gegend sein sollten, werden wir mit Sicherheit gerne wieder dort übernachten.

Gaisma and Jörg are welcoming hosts who want to make sure you feel comfortable. We had great conversations while having beer in the evenings. They know a lot about Portuguese history and have always good recommendations what to do and see. Big shared kitchen, outdoor area with football table and tiny pool. The place is a bit out of nowhere tho- keep that in mind.

Christina und Pedro haben uns die beste Woche in Portugal beschert, wir haben uns immer wohl und zuhause gefühlt. Als meine Freundin krank wurde sind sie mit ihr nachts ins Krankenhaus gefahren und haben sich gekümmert- wir sind euch unbeschreiblich dankbar!! Der Pool ist sehr gut um im heißen Beja zu entspannen, die Zimmer und Unterkunft sind äußert sauber und bei allen Fragen gibt es eine schnelle Antwort von Christina und Hilfe. Es gibt jeden Morgen ein leckeres Frühstück. Danke für die Empfehlungen in der Gegend, Vale de Santiago ist sehr süß! Bis bald und ganz viel Liebe an euch!

Amazing stay close to Porto Covo in small farm. Only 1h drive train from Lisbon. Very rural area and very peaseful and buitiful area. Only few minutes from ocean with amazing beaches and clifs and to hiking path Rota Vincenta. Nice small town nearby. Possiblibly to buy fresh egs and amazing vergetebales from Richard. Accomodation in typical cosy little houses of that region and very comfortable. Loads of sun and fresh air. I would like to come back back!

Sencillamente una experiencia excelente, fuera de lo habitual La casa y la habitación son realmente preciosas, una muy cuidada combinación entre una casa antigua de pueblo con detalles más modernos y con todas las comodidades. La cama es espectacular... El entorno es ideal para quienes quieran disfrutar de una experiencia rustica y de la naturaleza. Ricardo ha sido un anfitrión espectacular, muy atento, respetuoso y siempre pendiente por hacernos la estancia lo más agradable posible. El primer día nos recibió con una botella de vino y dos copas en el saloncito que era de uso casi exclusivo. Y a la mañana siguiente nos dio los buenos días con un desayuno delicioso que ofrece de forma completamente altruista, para que sus huéspedes se sientan como en casa y no les falte de nada. Jamás habíamos tenido una experiencia similar. GRACIAS de corazón, Ricardo! Vive con un perro gigante, buenísimo y muy tranquilo que está siempre fuera y 2 gatos que hacen muy buena compañía

We stayed there while hiking the Fishermen’s Trail. Isabel and her family were super friendly! despite the fact that we do not speak portuguese Isabel managed to explain the most important things and even let us chose the room since two similar ones were free. The room we had was lovely decorated and super clean, with a small balcony to hang clothes. Many restaurants and supermarkets are in close distance. We especially enjoyed the breakfast with a wide choice and fresh scrambled eggs! Would definitely recommend to stay there 😊

Wir durften zwei wundervolle Nächte in der Unterkunft von Tomás verbringen. Ich habe die Unterkunft per Zufall gefunden und wir sind wirklich hin und weg! Es war ein wundervoller Aufenthalt bei Tomás und seiner Schwester… wir hatten das Zimmer im Dachspitz- ein absoluter Traum! Die ganze Unterkunft ist wunderschön eingerichtet, viele kleine Details und super sauber.. man kann sich hier wirklich rundum wohlfühlen. Nicht zu vergessen ist das fabelhafte und mit Liebe gemachte Frühstück auf der wunderschönen Terrasse im Innenhof- es hat an nichts gefehlt und war super lecker. Am ersten Abend durften wir in den Genuss der Kochkünste von Tomás Schwester Mariana kommen- auch hier, vielen vielen Dank! Es war einfach nur atemberaubend und so unfassbar lecker. Wenn ihr die Gelegenheit habt, bucht das Abendessen unbedingt dazu.. Vielen vielen Dank an Tomás und Mariana für diesen tollen Aufenthalt- wir kommen bestimmt wieder :-)

We had the perfect stay at Casa da Cerca. The place looks incredible and is very clean. The breakfast was outstanding and the staff super friendly. The cherry on the top is the beautiful garden with the pool (and the kitties who came to say hi while we were on the terrace!) Absolutely recommend !

Un lugar maravilloso si buscas desconexión y naturaleza. Todo muy bonito y cuidado con mucho amor y detalle. Los anfitriones han estado pendiente todo el rato para que nuestra estancia fuera lo más agradable posible. Hemos viajado con niños y ha sido genial verlos saltar en la piscina, jugar con los perritos y recorrer todo ese espacio natural. El desayuno delicioso y la pizza party todo un éxito. El lugar es totalmente recomendable. La única “pega” es que es un camino complicado para llegar y está algo alejado de pueblos y playas cercanas (unos 30 min hasta Vilanova). Richard's place has a great location, it can be reached in 1 hour from Lisbon by car. It's a charming farm great to relax and enjoy the alentejo's sun. Richard and his wife are great hosts and very kind people. We loved our stay there and look forward to go back.
