Family-friendly vacation rentals in Beja District

An exceptional secluded paradise. We stayed there for a week to visit the Algarve and were there as a couple and with our dogseta who was delighted. Silvia provided us with instructions to get to the house properly (not following the gps). The place is very quiet, secluded and is reached by a flattened dirt trail between vineyards. The house is wooden and very big and spacious. It has a large enclosed deck ideal for being read there or playing board games. The house is well finished and secluded and has screens on all windows. The kitchen is very well equipped with all the utensils and some basic ingredients. The garden is wide with a very clean pool, of which Silvia takes care of daily without disturbing. Silvia has made it easy for us any needs and we are very happy about it; we repeat the stay without a doubt.

Great place and great location. We were six people and easily fit into his large home. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone planning a trip to Comporta!!!

Nice place with an insanely beautiful beach nearby. House is nice with lots of places around the house to always sit in the sun or shade. Also nice that the space around the house is shielded with vegetation and a fence ( due to small kids). House felt very clean and thoughtfully decorated. Nice arrival with lights on and a drink in the refrigerator, plenty of towels and nice smell and soap everywhere, etc. Wonderful stay in the hammock and porch porch. but the breathtaking beach so close to the house was really the best.

We had a wonderful week at this lovely and quiet place. The sunset was fantastic and our kids enjoyed to play with the dogs and swim with them.

Staying at Carlos's house was great. The house was perfect for our group of 7. The location was ideal for getting to the beaches and into town. And, Carlos was a tremendous host. He provided terrific suggestions for what to do and where to go and was immediately responsive to any questions or requests we had. Would highly recommend renting Carlos's house.

Bruno’s place was peaceful and a relaxing sanctuary including the bells from sheep next door He was helpful in suggesting local treasures and places to find local cuisine. Little touches around the sweet cottage added to feeling welcomed Also very responsive and accommodating. Would love to return

Second time in this little paradise. For those who like silence, animals, privacy, this is the perfect place. Perfect for babies/children. The Households are the soul of this place. Mr. Coirinha and wife are super kind and available people. We highly recommend it.

Lovely house. spacious, high and cozily furnished. beautiful swimming pool and beautiful surroundings. so quiet and green.

Located in a pretty valley next to the river. The place has stone floors and is tastfully decorated with comfortable beds. The pool area is a couple of minutes walk. We had a friendly cat that would come and say hello every day! This place is peaceful and perfect for relaxing. There was fresh bread delivered every day. On arrival there were yogurts, jam and cheese provided. We really enjoyed the free yoga lessons (Wed and Sat only). Lots of nice beaches nearby but our favourite was Praia da Amoreira - a beautiful beach and a long stretch where you can swim in the river (where the river meets the sea).

We were very well received and the accommodation matches the entire description, having surprised us very positively, the landscape and the tranquility of the area. It was a very pleasant stay and an experience to be repeated, if possible. The host was incredibly available to us and we can only thank him

Awesome property and very nice host. Kudos to Anibal and Amélia for being super responsive and helpful. Very few issues with the house which were promptly resolved. A parking space would have helped improve the experience but not a blocker. Pity we couldnt enjoy the pool and the patio much due to the weather. Overall definitely recommend this place!

Beautiful location, we had a great Time!

We had such a lovely time here spending most of our time swimming in the pool, exploring the beaches and enjoying as many of the nearby restaurants as possible! Our hosts couldn’t have been more welcoming and we were made to feel right at home straight away. Thank you 😊

We had a wonderful time at Herdade. Even though the weather was cold & rainy and we didn't spend as much time outdoors as we'd hoped, the house felt warm & cosy and there was lots to keep us entertained (snooker, board games, drum & guitar). João was available on WA and took the initiative to communicate with us to check everything was fine and make us feel welcome.

We simply had a great time at Maria and Cristiana's. The environment is superb, peaceful, the rented apartments in impeccable condition and well equipped. The pool is wonderful. The atmosphere is family-friendly, perfectly suited for a stay with young children. However, we had to be careful not to disturb our neighbors because the accommodations are attached. We'll be happy to go back to continue to enjoy this beautiful and incredibly preserved area.

Nice stay over Easter. Great for dogs - we went on nice walk down the quiet lanes. 25 minutes to the beach.

I had the pleasure of staying at Gaismas place for a couple of days to visit relatives in the area. The place is very nice, clean, practical and has very lovingly been created by Gaisma and her partner. It's removed from the main road and you shouldn't be afraid to use unpaved roads, but that's how it is in the whole area. The description to get there Gaisma sent through before arrival was very accurate, and I had no problem getting there. Her dogs are very friendly and curious, but also understand that no is a no. Greatly recommended.
