Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. The Haseltal cycle path leads directly past the property. The outdoor pool is about 300 meters away. The skiing and hiking areas in the Thuringian Forest (Oberhof with international competition venues and Schmiedefeld) are easily accessible by car in 20-30 minutes as well as by public transport.

Modern holiday home in the heart of the Grabfeld

After I inherited the farm from my grandfather, one thing was clear to me, "this farm is not for sale." Thus, together with my parents, I completely renovated the farm and created a modern furnished vacation home. In his honor, it has become "DER HENKELHOF," where we would like to extend a warm welcome to you. By "we" I mean my parents Heri & Ilona and me. Guest house on the Schleusehof... enjoy nature!

Our guest house (about 89 m) is located on our mini-farm, which we operate as a hobby. The Schleusehof is idyllically located on a small river, where you can cool your feet on hot days. The house sleeps 4 people (2 adults + 2 children. On request, we also have a baby bed for the little ones. The yard offers space to romp and relax. Fancy a day at the lake or a quiet afternoon in the garden, a ski trip, a racing climbing hike or a cozy evening by the fireplace? Then WELCOME TO our newly renovated statement apartment. Looking forward to seeing you soon. ATTENTION: Maintenance work is currently taking place on the dam, which is why the lake is not filled. But walking across the drained reservoir is possible and very interesting.

Cozy apartment for two people (+2 people). Separate entrance; underfloor heating; located on the outskirts of Hildburghausen with connection to the Werratal bike path. Baker in the immediate vicinity. Kitchen equipment: fridge, stove and dishwasher. A cozy terrace with grill is available to guests. We offer a fresh chicken egg from our chickens to each guest per day.

Remise at Bedheim Castle

The Remise is an outbuilding of Bedheim Castle. In the house there are 2 bedrooms (a guest room with 2 beds and a dormitory with 10 beds), 2 bathrooms (each with 2 toilets and a shower) and a large kitchen-living room with a fireplace. Parking is available on the castle grounds.

Forest Hideout

Our apartment is located in quiet forest surroundings but within walking distance to Sonneberg town centre. It is perfect for hikers and mountain bikers, with hundreds of kilometres of trails leading into the Thuringian Forest national park from our front door.
