Wonderful long weekend in Deep Creek. Perfect for someone visiting in wheelchair as well, I had messaged the lodge and they made sure we had a clear path to the front entrance. We didn’t realize there wasn’t a stove in the cabin but we made everything work. Would highly recommend

My wife and I have been to Deep Creek many times before but I wanted to surprise her with a 2 night stay away for her break from her job and I came across Michelle’s place! The place was amazing! It was perfect for a couple. We relaxed and enjoyed the lower deck with some wine and music. The hot tub was awesome as well. Everything was very clean and it was easy to check in/check out. Michelle was very responsive and gave easy directions to follow. We will for sure be staying here again! Thank you for a great stay Michelle!

My husband and I were getting married and we decided that although we live just a few minutes up the road that some privacy before and after the wedding would be needed. I didn’t feel like I was near my home, it felt away from everything, no one bothered us and the place was great. The jacuzzi was absolutely amazing, and we had everything we needed.

We had a wonderful and relaxing time at Susan's cabin! We appreciated the beautiful and private setting, found it clean, and enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit and corn hole. We're planning on returning in the future! Thanks for hosting us!

Could not have asked for a better experience with this Airbnb. The cabin was very clean, comfortable, and beautiful. It was so nice to have options of sitting out on the deck in lounge chairs watching the birds, enjoying the hot tub, being outside by the fire pit, reading and relaxing in the screened-in sunroom, or hanging out in the living room looking out at the view from the giant windows. Directions for use of the home and amenities were clearly communicated through direct message, as well as posted throughout the house and in the welcome book. Would definitely stay here again!

Connor’s place was nice! We had a small girls trip for 2 nights. There is plenty of room and a nice back porch and covered outdoor seating! Perfect for a get away to Berkeley Springs or surrounding state parks.

Alicia's cabin at blue knob is in a great location to explore all you can do in Blue knob state park we were minutes from the main ski lodge, tubing run , cross country skiing , condo pool and hot tub . The cabin itself is adorable ( according to my wife) it has a spacious homey feel . I t is decorated in a neat cabin vibe . Alicia was a wonderful host in that she was accommodating, thorough in her directions and explanation of what there is to do and where to do it . She communicated instantly when we had any questions or concerns . this place is and A + I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a cabin in the Blue knob area .

The drive up into The Woods was beautiful(4x4 recommended 😄)& once we got into the community, we felt safe. When we walked into Cedar Loft we were welcomed by fresh baked cookies, snacks,& a sweet, hand written card.The cabin smelled like a cabin in the woods & was so cozy & warm. There was low music playing on the TV too which just all in all felt so warm & welcoming. I was with my mother, daughter, & niece-the girls slept in the loft which they absolutely loved. Everyone wanted to stay longer. Our purpose was to get away, relax& be in nature. That was definitely accomplished staying here. There were many throwback CD movies that brought me back to my childhood. We laughed& cried &really enjoyed that nostalgic touch. Everything was clean& comfortable, we enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, being out by the fire pit& swimming at the pool. The cabin was stocked with everything you might need. Thank you for such a memorable stay. The journal was so special. There were tears on the way out.

This was our second stay at Janel's place and it was just as enjoyable as the first time. We loved the fireplace and views from the A frame windows. The hot tub wasn't working unfortunately, but things happen and Janel was communicative about it. Had a great weekend regardless. Also love that Janel is accommodating of dogs. Our fur babies were happy to join us on our getaway.

5 stars A peaceful and well-appointed retreat for families We had a wonderful stay at Lou’s cabin. The space is cozy, clean, and beautifully set up for families of all ages. Everything was exactly as described and then some. The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were comfortable, and the layout gave everyone their own space to relax. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches: labeled switches, easy-to-follow door codes, and great lighting throughout. The game room and fireplace were huge hit. My son loved the air hockey, and we all enjoyed an evening by the fire. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and the guides and guest book made exploring the area feel easy and intentional. Lou was responsive, generous, and clear from the start. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. We’d absolutely come back and recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable, and memory-making getaway. Thank you, Lou!

Thank You for making my 54th birthday so pleasant and peaceful. The house is very private but at the same time it has glass window everywhere to let int he natural light. My favorite spot in the house was the back porch. It was private but the furniture was beautifully and comfortable. I spent hours just sitting and mediating out there. The kitchen is well stocked with everything a family would need to make a complete meal. The shower head made me feel like I was in a spa. The towels mad me feel as if I was drying with clouds. ( I have to find out where they bought those towels. I LOVED this house and so did my group of women I brought with me. There was plenty of room for everyone. I will definitely rent this house again.

Loved staying at Lazy Bear Lodge. Beautiful home with privacy on big property. Hosts were super responsive and gave great local recommendations. Very accessible to hiking and white water rafting.

Great stay and location with our big family. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Emily was extremely helpful and responsive and helped make our trip memorable!

This is our third time staying here. We love the peace and quiet, easy access in the mountains that doesn't require a 4x4 vehicle. We stock up on groceries from home or the local Food Lion in downtown Berkeley Springs, then make all of our meals. Our kids enjoy the sleeping loft upstairs and the main floor bedroom is quite comfortable, we all slept quite well on each respective bed. The view outside is great, the screened in porch is so nice to have, ensuring a bug-free, relaxing time out in the cool mountain air. The wood burning fireplace helps with the cozy factor when inside, and even though we go there to get away from all the fast movement in the city, it is also nice to have satellite TV just in case you are feeling up to watching a movie by the fire. We will definitely be going back again in the future.

Very cute and cozy spot! Easy to find and easy to check in and out. Rachel was communicative and even provided some recommendations for my dog and I (Loved Devil’s Nose!). Even though the weather didn’t cooperate all that well, I was still able to explore Berkley Springs and made it down to Harper’s Ferry! Would definitely recommend this spot!

Had a great stay here! Cabin was exactly as described and shown in the photos. Nice location, very private. Lots of helpful communication from the host prior to our stay, so it was easy to find the cabin and check in. They have an emergency number in case of any issues outside business hours. It was just two of us this time but we would stay here again with friends or family!

We loved our stay at the Spruce Cabin! We were impressed as soon as we got in the door at how nice the cabin was and how comfortable the space was to stay in, Mike and Marta had everything we needed in the cabin to make our stay relaxed and easy from cookware to linens, a grill, and fire put with firewood nearby. Check-in/Check-out were quick and easy. Amenities were above and beyond what was described and of good quality/easy to use! We loved the location - very close to anything and everything you want to do in the Deep Creek Lake/Oakland area, but tucked just far enough away from the main road, that it was peaceful and private! We’ve already recommended the Spruce Cabin to friends and family, and would highly recommend it to anyone else who happens to read this review!

We enjoyed a quiet, peaceful time in nature to reconnect. The house was well stocked with what was needed and more. We had our choice of coffee makers, drip or French press, and there were even some non-perishable food items. The hot tub was a perfect way to relax. The hike to the creek was a little bit too steep for us, but we enjoyed walking around the back yard. One day there was a beautiful owl in the trees. There were also card games and puzzles for relaxing entertainment. Ashley was very kind and responsive when we contacted.

Would happily return & already recommended to others! Creek access within steps (wading, fishing, birding) & peaceful deck overlook are key to this private getaway. Bonus features include extremely clean cabin & considerate hosts. Details and extra supplies (the snacks for people and pets!!!) are thoughtful & “extra”.

This place was fantastic! Great little cabin for unplugging from society. Clean, cozy, easy. No WiFi, no television, no distractions. Raymond was fantastic. The main property is in view but still extremely private. Will be staying here again soon!
