Centuries ago, a castle called ‘Huis Ulft’ was located on the premises. It used to belong to the sister of one of the Netherlands most important historical figures. Nowadays, the location still resembles a fairytale’s beauty. The cottage is comfortably equipped with facilities as a large private terrace, multiple unique bedrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen.

A beautiful apartment in Goch-Kessel. In the immediate vicinity are the "Haus am See" [Lake House], a SAMsDIVING diving base, the beautiful Graefenthal Abbey, a nature reserve with several lakes and forest. On the Niers you can ride canoe and dinghy. The "GochNess" leisure pool with swimming pool and sauna area with access to the lake can be reached in 10-15 minutes on foot. The apartment is in the district of Schneppenbaum in the municipality of Bedburg-Hau. Ideal for bike tours on the lower Lower Rhine. It is quietly centrally located, supermarkets and bakers as well as a forest are within walking distance. The cottage is surrounded by a lot of nature and a beautiful lake with weeping willows. The A-frame house offers plenty of privacy with 2 hectares of garden. The lake house has a bright living room, kitchen, bathroom with shower and bedroom. Our two Scottish Highland cattle are behind our cottage and are a real highlight. There are also many birds, hedgehogs and rabbits in the garden. A BBQ is available on the terrace excl. gas bottle.
