Beautiful location overlooking the estuary and countryside. Wonderful stars when the sky is clear and beautiful views especially of the sunrises and sunsets. Only 2kms from Owaka. Friendly host and really well equipped house made us feel right at home.

The cottage is part of a working vineyard, and one finds serenity and feels restful. It is exactly as described. Jen was a wonderful and thoughtful host -- she was responsive, esp. when we brought to her attention small glitches that are bound to happen despite the best of intentions, and she promptly help us to take care of the small glitches and even added a surprising personal touch to make our stay that much more enjoyable. We had a wonderful stay; we got to explore the Central Otago wineries, and got to enjoy the sunset at the cottage sitting on the porch in the back. Jen's cottage is between Alexandra and Clyde, and within short driving distance to some great wineries and to other parts of Central Otago. I find Alexandra an easy and pleasant city to shop for produce if needed. I look forward to staying with Jen again if I visit Central Otago in the future.

Margaret was incredibly accommodating and communicated well. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The house was clean and any issue was dealt with immediately. Thank you for a great stay!

cottage is a beautiful, comfortable piece of history, in an amazing seaside location.

A lovely tidy place with all the amenities. We were 6 people plus an infant so it felt a bit small for us since there’s only one toilet and shower, and we couldn’t all fit around the dining table, but other than that it was great. Toys and games for the kids, a fully equipped kitchen, a big comfy couch and bean bags for us all to enjoy the view out the front, and comfy beds.

We absolutely loved our stay! The unit was clean, has stunning views and was very peaceful and relaxing! We really appreciated the kitchen being stocked with fresh milk, orange juice and muesli! It was lovely to come back to a spa at the end of the day after adventuring around The Catlins. Thank you Lisa :)
