Lake is drawn down, mid-Sept - April, meaning water level during this time may be nonexistent. Boat launch at end of road.

Quaint, peaceful, & fully remodeled basement apartment awaits you 9/10th of a mile off I-81. Conveniently located an hour from Knoxville, Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge areas & about 45min from Johnson City, Kingsport, and Bristol. We are situated in the middle so you can go either way without a lot of driving. This is an easy stop-over if you are traveling 81 and just need a sweet place to rest in your journey. Mendin' Fences is a working farm. During the summer months, we host horsemanship clinics. For more: you can find us on the web by the name of our farm. We are a great destination for a quiet getaway, a horse stopover, or even a family reunion if renting the additional bunkhouse. In each direction, you can find many activities to enjoy: Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge; wineries; historical sites (Rogersville & Jonesborough in particular). Two airports are 50 min & 1.25 hrs away.

This location is in the heart of Morristown with a variety of restaurants and quick access to interstate 40 and interstate 81. With the Néw interstate access, the drive to pigeon Forge is about 45 but could be longer depending on traffic. Guest are encouraged to allow more time during peak season ( March- December ) This listing is NOT a good fit for small or toddler children because of the kitchenette and fireplace.

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The house is incredibly beautiful and has anything you could possibly want and more. Everything is impeccably clean and the furniture and beds were very comfortable. Amazing views of horses, cows, nature and mountains. Perfect place to relax and we are so glad we stayed. We had a wonderful visit and the hosts were so gracious and kind!

"We had the pleasure of staying at Latricia's property, and it was the most private Airbnb we've ever experienced. Latricia and Pete were incredibly responsive to all of our questions, and any issues that came up were promptly addressed. They were both so helpful and friendly, making our extended stay much more comfortable while we waited for our new home to be built. The space was just right for our needs, and we truly appreciated their accommodating nature. If you're looking for a restful, peaceful, quiet, country hideaway, we highly recommend this cozy spot. It’s the perfect place to unwind!"

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Jen and Mikes place. Beautiful home with plenty of room. Beds were comfortable. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. Unfortunately there was not much water behind the house this time of year, but we found a great fishing pond with a waterfall just minutes away that our dogs and granddaughter loved. There are great restaurants in the close by downtown area.

Me and my fiance went for a short getaway for Mothers Day. The cabin was very cozy and clean. The location of the cabin is very beautiful. David and Angela are amazing host. They're very quick to respond if you have any questions. Also, inside the cabin was a binder of instructions on what you need to do when you check out, along with a list of near by restaurants and close boat boats if you were to go out on the lake for a day. We had a great time and hope to come back again. 10/10

Such a peaceful getaway! I had a great experience staying at the Blue Cottage. It's tucked away down a private road, which made it feel super quiet and secluded — perfect for relaxing. The place was really clean and cozy, with all the little touches that made it feel like home. I loved waking up each morning and spotting wildlife right outside. There's a cute café just five minutes away where I grabbed breakfast every day, which was super convenient. Overall, it was the perfect mix of comfort and nature. I'd definitely stay here again!

I booked the BearBNB for my wedding weekend and without even having to ask Jeannie was so accommodating to all of the needs we would have while getting ready. She ensured we would have a full length mirror and a steamer for my bridesmaids and I to use before the wedding! She also kept in contact with me prior to and during my stay and was always willing to answer my questions. The location was peaceful and beautiful—it was perfect for us!
