We had a nice time in the apartment. The neighborhood is off the beaten tourist path but definitely worth a visit. The apartment is completely sufficient for two people, has a small breakfast balcony and has a modern bathroom. Only the kitchen equipment is very sporadic, but this is not bad due to the many cheap restaurants in the neighborhood.

It's a very decent site in a great location. There are metro and metrobus routes within a 10-minute walking distance. The host was also very kind and patiently answered our questions and messages. It is what it is in the photos of the house. It would be great if you could determine your guests for a house of 2 people accordingly. Definitely a home I can choose again.

you must click on the map Direction provided by owner in the Airbnb apps, because if you copy past Goo-gle maps will bring you a different location 2km far from the original location, but apartment is clean and as per photos, all types of shops and Turkish restaurant are available, The location is far from tourist spots that you can visit by walk for me, I enjoyed because I was not for holiday but to do some job done

We loved our stay at this apartment. Balat was a perfect neighborhood to make as base during our stay in Istanbul. Tons of great restaurants in the area and it was easy to access other parts of the city via bus and tram. Pops Balat and Balat Kahvaltı Evi are two great spots for breakfast and coffee just a short block from the apartment. The apartment was cozy and beautiful and exactly as described and shown in photos (I particularly liked the historical character of the place). Another review noted that kids play outside fairly late, which I noticed as well. Not an issue for me, even as a light-ish sleeper!

We had a wonderful stay here during our honeymoon, and we couldn’t have asked for a better host! The apartment was spotlessly clean and beautifully prepared for our special trip — it really made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. One thing that stood out was the flexibility — both check-in and check-out were super smooth and adapted to our schedule, which made things so much easier for us. The flat itself is very well-equipped. There were plenty of furnishings and amenities to make our stay comfortable. We were especially happy to find a fully stocked kitchen with everything we needed to cook — such a thoughtful touch! We’re really grateful for the experience and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

Great location , waking distance to many attractions

I was lucky enough to book this space on my trip to Istanbul & it was the highlight of my trip. The location is amazing with easy access to all the key areas. The host, Meriman, is the best. She has a rooftop with amazing views that stocked with Turkish coffee & great seating. Meriman was also nice enough to give us a ton of great guidance! I would highly recommend staying here!!!

I had an unforgettable stay in the heart of Cihangir, in a peaceful and elegant location. This place is not just an accommodation but truly feels like a second home in Istanbul. Every detail has been meticulously considered: a spacious and comfortable living area, the pleasure of a home cinema experience on a large screen, a bright and quiet neighborhood… Even the bed, pillows, and dryer have been carefully chosen with comfort in mind. For those working remotely, this place is also an excellent choice! There is a dedicated workspace where you can comfortably take care of your business. Sara, made this experience even more special. With her warm hospitality, excellent recommendations about the city, and attention to every detail from check-in to even sharing the local grocery store’s number, she truly made me feel at home. If you are looking for a comfortable, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed home in Istanbul, this is definitely the right place! I will definitely be back!

I highly recommend staying at Ugur’s place. From the time we booked, till the end of the stay Ugur was super responsive and helpful. The views are just drop dead gorgeous (floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Bosphorus). The neighborhood feels like you are living and staying like a local and has modern furnishings. Wifi is excellent. You have to be ready to handle stairs but if in reasonably good shape, they are not a problem. Just avoid if uneven stairs are an issue but Istanbul is hilly and any local neighborhood would mean stairs. The best thing is Ugur’s responsiveness: we needed coffee pods, a tap fixed, airport transfer: all was organized in a minute… and shout out to Mohamed who so kindly helped with luggage and many things!

It was easy to find. Thanks to the direct location. Overall, it was a good experience. It's in a good place in the neighborhood. It was on the ground floor but the air conditioning was good, the bathroom was simple and clean, and the refrigerator was cooling very well. The seats were comfortable. I had no problems with privacy, which was one of the important points for me. I'm satisfied. Thanks again.
