A perfect unit, with everything we needed. Location is great. Mel was very easy to communicate with. We appreciated the heating being turned on so that we arrived to a lovely warm space on a very chilly day!

Caron’s cabin was rustic and as described. Facilities were good for one night, Caron left us some eggs and fruit from the land. Caron greeted us on arrival and added some history to the cabin which was great. It was a great place for us to stay on our long drive down south. Be warned, creepy crawlies love the cabin also!!

The Shed was cute as a button. Lots of books, games (and toys if you have kids!). It was just my partner and I plus our wee dog. Used the outside bath one night which was fun - the lights out on the deck were so pretty. Beds were comfy although I had to sleep in the top bunk as the bottom bed was a tad too small for both of us. (I like to starfish) 😂 Toilet and shower were outside of the shed (in a separate room just next to the shed). Pity it was pissing down as it wasn’t very pleasant going outside to the bathroom space during the night. However great stay, Donna was lovely and had wine and chocolate for us on arrival which was a great touch!

As a group of 5 girlfriends we couldn’t have chosen a better place for our weekend away. We loved the cosy house it was nice and warm , beds comfy and had everything we needed . The location was amazing with access to a private lakefront spot. Ngaire was a fabulous super host so helpful and going extra mile for us to ensure we had a lovely stay. Can’t recommend enough and would love to comeback in summer !

Such a beautiful peaceful place to stay with lovely gardens. Fun to see the cows running in the fields nearby. Nice breakfast items including fresh fruit, milk, juice, yogurt, honey, cereal, bread and jelly.

I’m not sure what the past reviews are talking about because this place was absolutely great and worth every cent that we paid. The house had everything and more that is usually provided in an Air BnB, I was even able to bake some brownies with all the kitchen utilities that are available. Immaculately clean, the bed in the room was super comfy and my sons enjoyed their sleeps on the bottom bunk and sofa bed in the lounge. The place was absolutely perfect for what we were after and the backyard is awesome for little ones. Although the Air BnB is the bottom floor of the host’s house, it is so private and you hardly even hear any noise above. Thank you Lorna and Aaron for a wonderful stay. We will definitely be returning to you if needed again in the future.

We had a great stay at Terry & Millie's place. The accommodation was very cosy and warm considering the outside temperatures and the bed was so comfortable. We liked the accommodation being a little outside the main town as it was quiet and peaceful. All amenities were provided for us to be able to cook breakfast, lunch & dinner - having an air fryer & dishwasher were added bonuses. Lastly, Roxy was such a beautifully natured dog that our daughter loved having around to give pats to. Would definitely stay here again if we were to return to Rotorua.

Really nice place, central but also removed, I liked it. It was cute but stylish, and the chickens didn't peck my fingers off. It was too cold outside for the bath, but on the right night, it would be lovely. The bed and pillows were 5 stars comfy.

Phil's place had all we needed for our stay. We were here due to a big event taking place around the area of Neil Hunt Park and Redwood Forest, so it was a great location for us since we could easily walk back and forth between the event and our accommodation. Phil was really nice and accommodating, and picked us up in the city center when we arrived by bus. Initially we had misunderstood the amenities listed and thought that there was pots, pans and a stove top in the kitchenette, but Phil was kind enough to offer us to use his kitchen (although we never needed it because the weekend was so busy that we never had time to cook). We wished we could've stayed longer because this AirBnB was really nice! So cozy, Phil was so friendly and kind and the area was very peaceful and relaxing - something we would've wanted to take advantage of more. Really recommend staying here!

Was a gorgeous stay. Short walk to the beach. Cute little getaway if you’re wanting some small and intimate. Would definitely come again.

This stay was booked for my parents birthday present. I found communication with Jackie great, it was clear and quick responses. My parents said “It is a nice quiet and comfortable setting. Well resourced with everything you need. Nice and clean. The owners and son were very helpful.

Loved our stay in the cosy pod. All the amenities you need and a beautiful, peaceful spot for a getaway which is also close enough to drive into the centre.

Had a wonderful stay at David's bach. Close to the beach and easy walk to restaurants and cafés. the Bach was clean and perfect for a weekend get away. Would definitely stay again!

My partner and I were in town for a family event and needed somewhere to stay, we came across this beautiful and relaxing Airbnb at such a great price. The place was spotless, well-equipped with everything you could possibly need, and the views were absolutely stunning. We also loved the friendly animals that would come and greet us during our stay, such a special touch! Emma was an amazing host, responding quickly and kindly whenever we needed to reach out. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

We had the most comfortable of stays at Tui Glen. No other word than perfect can sum up our stay and interaction with Glendyr. It suited our needs to see relations in the area and to reach easily all our activities. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending a stay here. From hot tub, to swimming pool to bikes available for use, all was way beyond our expectations. Just wish we could have had more time available to use the amenities but we were busy visiting tourist attractions and family. Really lovely place to stay, right on the lake and very accessible. Very quick to help solve minor issues, great response and immediately resolved.

What a lovely stay! The apartment was super clean, and the breakfast was a very nice touch. The only thing we missed was the listed washer and dryer, which aren't directly in the apartment (though I'm sure the host would allow us to use theirs if we had asked).

Ann was so kind and accepted my last minute booking request, after I decided to hike out a day early from the Tongariro Northern Circuit due to bad weather. It was just the cozy place I needed - and oh did I sleep well! It was so nice and quiet. I would describe Ann's as a "peaceful retreat", and would encourage you to stay a few nights! Ann and her daughter warmly welcomed me, took the time to show me around, and we're just lovely to chat to. The little cottage was just the right size, private, and in the most gorgeous setting. I was kindly offered a late check out, and had the weather not been so sunny I would have happily stayed there all day! Some people are meant to host - Ann is one of those people 😊 I look forward to coming back someday in the future!

Lovedddddd the Air BnB. The lake view was absolutely stunning, especially at sunrise. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with everything we needed. We loved relaxing on the couch and watching the water. The hosts were warm, responsive, and made us feel right at home. Peaceful, private, and perfectly located—this was the ideal escape. We’ll definitely be back!
