In fact, just 6 km from the village is one of the most beautiful places in Sardinia, PEDRA LONGA, with a beautiful sea surrounded by real mountains, emerald green water and inviting depths for lovers of snorkeling, swimming or underwater fishing. A few kilometers away, just 10 km away, there is the hamlet of Baunei al mare, Santa Maria Navarrese, the summer residence of the inhabitants of Baunei and also a tourist destination for those who love the sea. A spiral staircase leads up to the beautiful terrace overlooking the valley and the surrounding old roofs. The view of the valley is beautiful, the terrace is airy, but sheltered from the wind at the same time. On a sunny day, in all seasons, eating on this terrace is a real pleasure, surrounded by a beautiful view and the typical sounds of the village and nature at the same time. The house is equipped with everything, cozy and well furnished, the cost is really low and competitive with seaside residences.

Marvellous apartment in a typical Sardinian style, decorated with soul and love. Comfort and charm of ancient and natural elements such a stone and wood, makes it unique, special, and ofcourse, homey. Great for a couple or a family/group of four. Equipped with everything for comfortable rest. Home, terrace and the view that you'll find hard to leave. I suggest to my guests to rent a small car, to avoid difficulty for passing the streets. However, the car is important for getting around.

We loved Roberta’s place on the edge of town in Baunei. Walkable to all the town has to offer and nice and quiet, with a great view. There’s also parking right next to the apartment. We’d love to return someday!

We loved our stay in beautiful Baunei, a small town in the mountains - with a beautiful panorama of hills. It was such a chilled and charming place to stay if you have a car to get around. It’s a relatively short drive to access all of the sites we wanted to see. Maria Laura’s place was super cute and filled with love and character. She provided fantastic recommendations and was super lovely and helpful. We happened to be in town at the same time as the local festival, which made it extra special!

Great location in a quiet spot in the mountainous old town of Baunei. When we arrived we found the host had left a bottle of Vermentino wine and local pastries for us. The flat is an old traditional stone building but it has been renovated and it's equipped with everything one needs, including a washing machine. Everything was in working order. The south-facing roof terrace offers an amazing view onto Santa Maria Navarrese, Arbatax and the coast nearby. We also spotted a gecko while chilling on the roof terrace at the sun set.

I really enjoyed my stay in Baunei at Pierpaolo’s place. The appartement has all the amenities you will need during your holiday. The apartment was very clean. Also you can park your car directly at the front door, however this is in a typical Italian small street. Also enough parking space just a small walk from the apartment just at the end of the main street. All in all I would love to come back to this part of Sardenia and I would book again at this place

I cannot say enough about this B&B. The location is perfect. The town is amazing. The host was very responsive and truly invested in us having a nice stay. The views are amazing, and it is very quiet. There are several excellent restaurants, cafés, and a grocery store with an easy walking distance. This town is beautiful, and its residence were very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this B&B.

Everything wonderful! The place has a nice Mediterranean charm and we felt right at home. The view is a dream! Baunei is a cute village that is quietly located in the mountains, yet not without life (bars, restaurants and delicious food available) and not far by car from other villages (Tortoli, Santa Maria Navaresse, etc.). Beaches (also for dogs) are also quickly accessible by car and really beautiful (spacious, not crowded, clear water, sandy beach). There are also beautiful hiking trails there. Maria was a super friendly hostess! Thank you so much!
