Villa vacation rentals in Batu Layar

We had a pleasant and relaxed stay at Villa Banten. The villa is spacious, with the pool being the clear highlight – a great spot to enjoy your time on Gili Air. On our last day, we had to leave early to catch a flight from Lombok. The team at Villa Banten kindly organized the transport for us, with everything going smoothly. Since the villa is quite big, you could also find some animals inside at some times (cockroach, frog, gecko), which we didn't mind that much. Overall, we had a wonderful stay, and can really recommend Villa Banten for a relaxing stay on Gili Air!

We absolutely loved staying at JAWA House! It was in the perfect location, on the only street that crosses the entire island (which they taught us). The breakfast every morning was delicious. They took time to explain the island to us when we arrived and gave us a welcome tea. They assisted us with booking bikes for our stay (highly recommend getting around). Everything was amazing, we loved the villa, it was the perfect size for us and felt super private and cosy. 10/10 would recommend, the staff are friendly and make the stay even better!

peaceful place to relax for the soul

Villa Melati is in a great location and offers beautiful services right in front of the beach and with a beautiful pool. You have to plan to get there with a horse-drawn cart because the distance on foot with luggage is a little far from the port. We were hosted very well by Akim who takes care of the housekeeping with a lot of seriousness and professionalism. He is present from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. or even more with extremely flexible schedules. He prepared an excellent breakfast for us every morning and was able to meet all our expectations and organize everything, whether it was bike rentals, meals on the beach or the boat that picks you up right in front of the house to go snorkeling with an experienced diver. Akim knows how to be discreet but if you want, he can give you a little guitar concert and talk to you about all kinds of topics. The garden is beautiful and he takes care of it! Unforgettable stay!

Easy to find and felt safe. Pool is good and so close to main street. Rooster starts early and so do prayer songs that wake you up. 4 bikes in villa great for riding around the island each morning. Ok for price and had a coffee pod machine...which is a major bonus. Buy some mosquito coils and have a few going morning and night! Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Got stung by stingers in the ocean so take cortisone, analgesia and valium.

Lovely little place, very private and beautifully furnished. Great location for the north, west and east of the island. We received a very warm welcome and everything went smoothly. Would stay again.

The location and asthethics are just wonderful. Its less than a minute on foot from the harbor of Gili Air. The best restaurants and shops are a walkable distance. Sophian is super friendly and has helped us tremendously when my wife got sick during our stay (completely unrelated to the listing). If you're looking for chill vibes, close to everything with a super responsive and friendly host stop looking because I doubt you'll find something better.

This is a great retreat on Gili Air. The Gili Air beach and the Slow Villa is the perfect combination for a typical Gili day! We had the Slow Double Villa as family with three kids for four nights and we really enjoyed our stay! What a wonderful atmosphere for a vacation... one thing though: think the bike rental should be included in the price.

Robinson House is an absolute gem. We stayed here to get ready for our wedding and the photo location opportunities are stunning. Very serene and waking up to see the sunrise from bed was so beautiful. Unfortunately we were so busy with our wedding guests, we really couldn't make the most of this unique property. We'll be back.

Gorgeous villa with private pool and only 5 minutes to local beach (and restaurants) with amazing snorkelling. Big thanks to Didi, Fiesty, Aini and the rest of the staff for their amazing service.

Fantastic house located in a quiet area of the island yet close to restaurants / bars. Communication with the staff was easy and they were helpful for requests. Very pleasant stay overall.

An amazing stay! The villa is beautiful with breathtaking views and a beautiful pool. The on-site staff really have their hearts on their sleeves: they are invested, responsive and always find solutions to make our lives easier. It is even possible to rent a scooter directly on site at a very affordable price, which is super convenient because the villa is located at the top of the mountain — a splendid setting, but a little isolated. There are no restaurants in the immediate vicinity, but there are a few small grocery stores along the way (many restaurants downstairs) (not far from the waterfront). I highly recommend renting a scooter for more freedom. Please note that Grab rides only go up to the villa during the day. I really enjoyed my stay here, I recommend it 100% and it is very possible that I will come back! Really 10/10 Favorite of Indonesia!

Our stay here was very nice. The view and the setting of the Villa was great. Also we felt very welcomed by one of the staff member who made sure to clean our rooms and the villa everyday. He helped us with getting motorcycles and a driver when we left as well. He was very nice and respectful of our privacy even though he was always close by when we needed him. He really helped us out a lot. We enjoyed our time here much and wished we could’ve stayed longer.

This stay was the highlight of my trip so far, the host was absolutely fantastic! He helped us get to know the area and book onto great experiences. The villa was very clean and so peaceful. It has everything you would need. Would definitely recommend!

My friend and I stayed for 5 nights. We loved the villa! It is beautiful - so clean and peaceful. It looked just the pictures. The staff is wonderful! They are so friendly and helpful and very responsive. We were able to use the beautiful pool. We were able to cook meals using the kitchen and the outdoor grill. The beds were comfortable. The linens were clean. The large bathrooms with the outdoor showers were amazing! Stephanie was responsive and helpful. We especially liked having Trisna to drive us around. The electricity went out briefly at night a coupke of times, but we noticed the neighbors lights were also off. That is to be expected in some countries. It was not an issue for us. There are tiny lizards and bugs that get into the villa, but that is to be expected. We enjoyed watching the lizards run around. We felt safe and were able to walk to the nearby Indomart. We used Grab a few times and never had any issues finding our way back to the villa

Our family had a wonderful stay here and would happily return. The views and pool are amazing! The house is not new, but it is well cared for and the staff onsite really makes it special. It was our daughters birthday while staying there and when the found out they surprised her with a cake and guitar to sing her happy birthday.

Bale Mandala villas are beautiful! We had the best time exploring the local area. Everyone at the villas and in Senggigi were so friendly and welcoming- we will definitely be back next year! Thanks Ira 🙏

We just loved our stay at Aurelia Villa 2. We were a group of four women (cousins) staying for the first time in Senggigi, Lombok and Lee and Lasme and the staff at the villa went out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable, safe and fun. Nothing was too much trouble. Even when I got sick, Lee organised for one of the staff to go to the chemist to buy nausea tablets. The recommendations provided re local eateries, tours etc were all gratefully received and excellent choices. We particularly loved the Snorkelling day trip to the Gili, the local beach and Warung where we got to hang with the locals, and the tip about the best place to watch the State of Origin. Highly recommend this villa and if I come back to Lombok I would not hesitate to stay again. The villa, the service, the breakfast and Lombok itself were all wonderful. Just one thing though to note, this is not a beachfront property with shared access. The Villa is off the main road on the opposite side to the beach.
