This is a great retreat on Gili Air. The Gili Air beach and the Slow Villa is the perfect combination for a typical Gili day! We had the Slow Double Villa as family with three kids for four nights and we really enjoyed our stay! What a wonderful atmosphere for a vacation... one thing though: think the bike rental should be included in the price.

We really enjoyed staying in the little open style house in the garden of Sophie's small hotel. It was very quiet and peaceful, staff were great as was breakfast by the sizable pool. We had our own simple kitchen where we prepared meals with foods from the market. Although no AC, it was cool enough with fans. Sophie was helpful and interesting to meet. Highly recommend it.

We needed somewhere last minute to stay and couldn’t believe we lucked out with this place. Super cozy bungalow, great aircon and bathroom, great black out curtains. The staff were all super friendly and helpful, the pool area was beautiful. The location is walkable to everything but also private and surrounded by fields. The little bar attached is classic. Loved staying here!

Staying at Mr Tony's guest house at BC Foundation was the highlight of our trip in Indonesia so far. We finally experienced the true local culture of Lombok. We got to interact with the students of the foundation, who guided us to two beautiful waterfalls, including an UNESCO site, and walks around the village and parks. We were welcomed into two of the students houses, where we joined the family and the other students for meals and games. The locals of the village were all very kind to us, saying hello, making conversation and asking for pictures. Not only we had a great experience, with amazing food, nice accommodation at BC and the beautiful surroundings, but Mr Tony also helped us into the next steps of our trip with his local knowledge and network. We'll always remember BC Foundation, our second home in Lombok 💙

I highly recommend the accommodation! We booked spontaneously because we quickly needed something new and were able to check in earlier, which was great! The room was nice and very clean, the bed comfortable, pillows and blankets cozy and smelled very good. The air conditioner worked flawlessly (which is very important to us). The people were really very nice, we felt very comfortable! There was even breakfast included, an easy selection of pancakes, omelette, scramble egg etc and a Lombok coffee. All in all, great value for money! Also only a few minutes walk to the beach, quiet surroundings. We were able to sleep very well and would come back any time! :)

The villa is really nice and characteristic, as well as very comfortable and equipped. It has many amenities that are not always easy to find on such a small island: kitchen, private pool (which is a rarity in Gili less), air conditioning, garden, bathtub.. The main reason we recommend this place is people: Ari and Google, in particular, have remained in our hearts. They are special people who have committed to make our stay perfect and have been able to do so. They prepared our breakfasts and suggested and organized many of our activities. We chatted with them daily and had a lot of fun (Ari told us a lot about him and Google is a big fan of Italian football and he also knows a few words of Italian). When we left, we were really sorry to leave our new friends. You are great people and we wish you all the best. We hope to see you again soon!

Asmara - Stunning Large Pool Villa on Gili Air

There are not enough positive things I could say about our stay at Asmara! The place itself is better than the photos! The pool is beautiful and clean with lovely lounge beds. The rooms and bathrooms were so clean and spacious with all the necessities you’d need for your stay! The housekeeping everyday was hardly necessary because of how clean the place came but very much appreciated. We loved hanging out in the living areas at night playing games! The only thing better than the place itself was the incredible hosts and house supervisor. I never had to wait more than 10 mins for a response from them and was always helped with activity suggestions and booking and bike rentals. They were always in touch and making sure we had everything we needed. They have put together an incredible book about this perfect little island with restaurant and activity reccomendations which was so helpful for our first time visiting. We would choose to stay at Asmara every time!

Hannah has been proactive in reaching out before our arrival. She and her team welcomed us with a tasty homemade smoothie and gave us a map showing us the best places to go in the island, which was super helpful. The room is simple but clean. It has a comfortable bed and blanket. Each room has a water dispenser, kettle, hair dryer, shower gel, bath gel, and conditioner, which is really nice and not common in some of the villas and rentals in Indonesia. The AC works fine, there are laundry hanging rods at each Bungalow to hang your wet swimwear and clothes. The room comes very complementary breakfast, pancakes, omelette and toast. The location is right at the turtle snorkeling point, so it’s convenient to step right out of the room to snorkel. It’s a 15-walk from the harbour. Check in is at 15h00, check out is at 10h00. We enjoyed our stay, highly recommended!

Best resort on Gili Air! Fantastic location, super convenient upon arrival and departure. The bungalow is lovely, very clean and has nice lighting + comfy bathroom with high quality soap and shampoo products. Staff is professional, flexible and attentive. The pool is big, super cleaned and well kept. Breakfast is delicious and chef and his brigade cook with love and care. We will definitely go back anytime we visit Gili Air! Well done Oceans 5

Great location for accessing a clean, public beach-just a 5 min walk away. 10 min scooter ride to Senggigi where you can find local produce and restaurants. There is a restaurant close by on the beach with great food and the best sunset view. Very nice pool to swim in, places to relax. Very hospitable host. Would recommend for a comfortable, peaceful stay.
