La maison d'Anne-Marie et Juwana est la plus jolie du quartier. Un savant mélange de tradition javanaise et de confort à la française. L'élégante décoration est même davantage recherchée que dans certains musées locaux. Vous êtes dans une demeure de goût, raffinée, accueillante et au comble de l'hospitalité. Ce que bien des bed & breakfast ont perdu en qualité vous le retrouverez ici en authenticité. Aussi bien traité qu'un Sultan, les hôtes ont été aux petits soins avec moi. La chambre possède tout le confort nécessaire et l'accès privatif offre calme, discrétion et indépendance. La gentillesse de Juwana et d'Anne-Marie est proportionnelle à leurs connaissances culturelles. La richesse de leur savoir concernant l'histoire et les traditions javanaises et sans commune mesure. Le conversations sont indubitablement fascinantes!

Me and my friend have been spending 10 days in this marvelous place and from the beginning till the end we enjoyed every moment of it. From the location (quiet and breezy yet surrounded by nice café and close to the city), to the house (cozy, rich with meaningful objects which tells so much about the journey of this couple), the host (always eager to share something about the city of Javanese culture), each and everything is enjoyable. The room is nice and windy, we were able to use the second one as an extra office, the lovely terrasse facing the lovely garden, the spotless bathroom (with hot water!), the private entrance, everything makes you feel at home. Breakfast are scrumptious (I must have put some weight!) and we were even allowed to use the kitchen. And yes, pak Juwana loves to share some evening drinks with lots of talks about everything. There is a lovely feeling of being in an hybrid environment where the best of the two cultures (French and Indonesian) are blend to perfection. Merci Mr Juwana, super host, for this wonderful time in your house, there is so much to enjoy in Malang (food, architecture, surroundings, weather, etc.) that we will definitely come back !

Wir haben uns bei Veronica und Paskal sehr wohl gefühlt. Paskal hat alles getan damit wir uns wie zu Hause fühlen. Gleichzeitig hatten wir viel Privatsphäre. Statt Gojek oder Grab konnten wir mit Paskal und seinem Auto fahren, was total schön war. Danke, Pa

Let me start by mentioning that Blitar area is a great homebase alternative to Malang for exploring the area’s natural wonders. And with hosts like Andrew and Regina it is a much better choice. They have made us feel like part of the family during our stay. They are keen to chat and show you secret local spots. Picked us up at the train station. Breakfast was a great pleasant surprise every morning, the rooms were serviced every day, great WiFi was a cherry on top. Andrew offers tours and transportation at great local rates. The house is a little bit out of the way, but the area is gorgeous, and I dream of coming back. Just go for it, and you won’t be disappointed.

It was a really lovely quaint house and Yhosie was a really nice host. As a foreigner who loves Asian food it was amazing to have an Indonesian breakfast. Would recommend as a place to stay. A bit out the way but still a nice friendly area

Yoshie’s place was in a lovely quiet area, away from the classic busy Indo streets but still within walking distance from the Rainbow/Blue villages. The house itself was beautiful with a comfy bed. No aircon but a very good fan that did the job. Yoshie was super helpful and cooked us a yummy traditional breakfast. She also helped us book all our activities (Tempak Sewu etc). Highly recommend this place. So peaceful! ❤️

Thank you Kak Yhousie.. I have wonderful experiences when staying at your place. The breakfast is outstanding, " like home smells". Your family is gorgeous and very helpful. Guys, if you have some free time, you should try the "sate rembiga" at kak Yousie rooftop cafe "kopi perempat".. It's flavourful.
