Yoshie’s place was in a lovely quiet area, away from the classic busy Indo streets but still within walking distance from the Rainbow/Blue villages. The house itself was beautiful with a comfy bed. No aircon but a very good fan that did the job. Yoshie was super helpful and cooked us a yummy traditional breakfast. She also helped us book all our activities (Tempak Sewu etc). Highly recommend this place. So peaceful! ❤️

Beautiful colonial house and we felt like we had the place to ourselves. Big spacious room and good location in a residential area with a nice local market just around the corner. The gate you can open and close yourself so what’s mentioned in earlier reviews is not the case anymore. Good base for Bromo and to explore Malang and 8min drive to Malang train station.

Our room was spotless and very comfortable with great bathroom facilities that were always welcomed after coming back soaked. The staff were so helpful and responsive to anything we needed and the pastry given in the morning was an added bonus. Was amazing value and would recommend to anyone for a comfortable stay to enjoy the wonders nearby and in Malang.

Guys, if you have some free time, you should try the "sate rembiga" at kak Yousie rooftop cafe "kopi perempat".. It's flavourful.

Yoshie’s place was in a lovely quiet area, away from the classic busy Indo streets but still within walking distance from the Rainbow/Blue villages. The house itself was beautiful with a comfy bed. It was a really lovely quaint house and Yhosie was a really nice host. As a foreigner who loves Asian food it was amazing to have an Indonesian breakfast. Would recommend as a place to stay. A bit out the way but still a nice friendly area
