Cabin vacation rentals in Basye

We really enjoyed our stay, will be booking again. Keep in mind that they have another set of same trio-cabin about 20 miles away. If you plan on booking all three together, communicate with the host clearly.

Perfect cabin — wish could’ve stayed longer. History buffs should take a walk past the old post office and see the church and cemetery.

Just got home from our little get away. The cabin was wonderful! Had everything we wanted. The view waking up to from the bedroom window was breathtaking. The kitchen had everything you could need and the view from that huge picture window was beautiful! We enjoyed the large hot tub and made good use of the pool table. The weather wasn't the best and got a little chilly but the fireplace helped with that. This weekend was exactly what we needed....Beauty, relaxation and peace! Thanks Mark!

Check in and check out were very simple and easy. The place was great for what we needed. Everything went as expected and my kids were sad to have to leave. I don't have anything negative to say, but have two notes for future guests. These are not a negative on the home or the hosts at all though. Bring bug spray, and the road leading up to the house is gravel and very bumpy.

Located in a very remote, quite and beautiful part of Shenandoah with everything you need right there. The beds are very comfortable and the hot tub an amazing relaxation experience.

We had an amazing stay at the cabin! The cabin was clean and beautifully decorated. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. Checking in and out was very easy. The nearby waterfall is such a cool addition! As others have noted, the driveway to get to the cabin is bumpy. We had to drive slowly and carefully in our small car.

The only part of the stay that didn't get 5 stars was that it wasn't quite as secluded as I'd hoped for. There are a number of homes on the road to the cabin, and a thin line of trees breaks the view. Admittedly unless you're looking for the other houses you don't notice them, so I got past that quickly enough. That said, the cabin was perfect, clean, cozy and everything worked as stated. Having grown up in the country, but living in a city now, I felt the stress melt away as soon as I stepped into the massive yard where my son and I spent a lot of time playing soccer and other sports. My son and wife really enjoyed the hot tub. The location is 15 minutes away from Luray which meant that the stars were amazing for the brief break in the clouds we got, but that it was close enough to get groceries and take out as needed. Plus it's about 20 minutes away from Front Royal so there are places to go and enjoy like Skyline or Luray Caverns. Jackie was a great and responsive host!

A true hidden gem! The perfect amount of privacy and serenity we needed for a birthday getaway. Smooth and easy check in. Detailed touches around the place like labels really made it easy and comfortable stay. Matt was very nice and an excellent communicator with clear instructions before, during, and after the stay. We will definitely book again!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Our two girls were happy to run around the yard and play in the little playground. The house was clean, neat, and homey. The view is spectacular. The hot tub was plus. Jan even put a sign that said happy birthday for my husband. So thoughtful! thank you, Jan! Sylvia

This location was fantastic, plenty of room and things to do. Very peaceful. The host had clear directions on how to make this stay as smooth as possible, and was very communicative ! A great getaway in the woods! Private without being isolated. Very close to lots of great hiking and the fire amenities were a perfect way to enjoy this cozy home. Super dog friendly airbnb too!

Had a great stay with our dogs. We loved the privacy with no neighbors in sight. There were lots of bees so it was a bit hard to enjoy sitting out on the deck but otherwise was great! Nice to be able to walk into Shenandoah right from the house.

My husband and I had a great time here with our dog! Everything was clean and as pictured, and the owners were polite. There was some dog poop in the yard when we arrived. The only other downside was the flies in the backyard. We couldn’t stand to be outside for longer than a couple of minutes due to being swarmed by flies (likely due to nearby farms). Other than that, the place was really cute, clean, and peaceful. I would still recommend it to anyone looking for a dog-friendly place near Shenandoah National Park!

We had an amazing time at this beautiful Airbnb! Highly recommend if you want to be surrounded by nature with the most perfect amenities! The hot tub was so amazing and relaxing, we didn’t use the fire pit but it was adorable! For a larger group it was very spacious and having 3 whole bathrooms was a huge help! The A - frame house was everything with the views!

We loved our stay! The cabin was clean and had everything you could need for a tiny getaway. The fire pit and hot tub were awesome! We loved the added touch of the long dog leads available and the bucket of dog toys inside! We will definitely be back and would recommend to others!

Had an excellent stay at this lovely cabin. It was a little hard to find it at first but once we did we were so happy with the cleanliness and the welcome gift. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our peaceful stay at the yurt. The views were beautiful. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Plenty of wood was provided for the fire pit. Douglas was promptly responsive if I had a question. We really enjoyed our stay and would like to come back again.

What a fantastic weekend! This cabin was so sweet, in a peaceful and beautiful location, close to the river, with chickens, tons of birds, our own little porch cat, and kayaks and canoes available at any time. It is also in the perfect location to visit Luray Caverns and Shenandoah. The cabin was comfortable, well stocked, and the fresh eggs were delicious. Owners are very responsive. Highly recommend!

The cabin was quiet and beautiful, just as the pictures show. Beautiful location right on the river and close to town and not far from the WV line! Our co-host Megan was very quick to respond when we had questions. Highly recommend this cozy little cabin on the river to anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature!

This spot is awesome for 2! Definitely peaceful and as it can get. The river is very accessible, great for fishing!
