With lots of classic Lakeland walks on offer from the front door, this easy-living family home is a proven haven. We’re taking extra steps to sanitize frequently touched surfaces between reservations after the coronavirus. Ample precautionary signs are in place on the stairs leading to the loft conversion bedroom upstairs.

It is very close to Scafell Pike- the highest peak in England, Wastwater lake- the deepest in England and the coast is a 10 minute drive. The house has breath taking views over the fells and is well equipped with all you will need including a log burner, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Free wifi included. Our house is close to the centre of Coniston village, 2 mins walk from the shops, pubs and restaurants and a short stroll down to the lake. The house has quality furniture and fittings, we've taken time over everything, the wood burning stove, comfy beds and the modern well equipped kitchen. There's beautiful landscapes throughout and some unique leaded glass by Sarah Lace. You can leave the car and walk everywhere if you wish. Our house is good for couples, families and one well behaved dog.

Our bungalow, Oban, is in a great location on the edge of the Lake District. We are just five minutes from the beach with views up the Duddon Estuary with the glorious backdrop of the Cumbrian Fells. It is ideal for families who enjoy the outdoor life as there are so many walks just locally or in the Lakes. Your pets are very welcome but we need to warn you that the garden is not fenced in. The village of Ireleth is quiet but very friendly and there are shops and take aways nearby in Askam.

We had a family get together which is very important to us all, we selected Marianne's property which appeared to tick all the boxes. Well it certainly delivered on the description, a stunning home from home with all the amenities we could possibly need in a lovely location, near enough to reach the lakes but not on top of all the hustle and bustle. We would certainly visit again and have already recommended the property to friends.

The Parsonage is just perfect, a really lovely apartment, fantastically equipped with all you need and more, with lovely touches like the roll top bath in the bedroom and the private courtyard that opens out off the bedroom, safe and secure for our dog. The Parsonage is ideally located right next door to Kendal Castle, great walks and beautiful views of Kendal. It’s also just a 10 minute walk into Kendal with plenty of cafes and restaurants serving delicious food and dog friendly too. Patrina is a wonderful host, the special treats left in the fridge were very kind and appreciated, her advice to jump on the bus to Rydal Water and have lunch at the Badger Bar made for the best day out with our dog. It all made for a perfect stay and we’ll definitely be back.

Lovely quirky cottage in a great location for all Coniston has to offer. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay, the kids loved the foosball table. The parking is a little tricky, especially if you have a bigger car, the video provided for parking is very helpful. The hosts were great, we had a slight issue with the locks but they sorted it for us promptly which we were very grateful for. If you’d like a unique property within walking distance of coniston water and plenty of places to eat this is a great option. We would however advise booking to eat if you want a table in the evening during holiday time, super busy! Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

A perfect stay in The Lakes. Could not of asked for a better location. The property was beautiful with stunning views. Communication was very good with very clear instructions. The icing on the cake was the bathroom, absolutely glorious. Will definitely be returning.

This apartment is very spacious - bigger than it appears in the photos. It is well equipped, warm and comfortable. There are useful instructions for all the appliances etc. It was lovely to have a view of the bay from the kitchen and one of the bedrooms. The location is central but peaceful and the private parking space is very useful. You can walk to the promenade in under 10 minutes. Communication with Carina was very prompt, friendly and efficient.

Wonderful place to stay near Wastwater. Beautiful flat, nicely decorated, comfortable and spotlessly clean. On the first floor with outdoor steps. Easy short walk down to the lake to swim or launch paddlboards. Can walk fells from the flat, perfect location. Really enjoyed our stay and would return.

5 stars. Highly recommended. We were kindly met by Emma & her husband who were lovely and had saved us a parking spot right outside the house. Provided essentials like bread, milk and an Easter egg which made us feel really welcome and at home. The space was beautiful, a lovely house with loads of space. Felt like a home away from home.. Will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone.
