Apart from the fact that the apartment is eccentric, everything is perfect at Soumia's. Beautiful, clean, neat, comfortable, well-equipped. There is a guard outside each building. We knew when we rented that we were not in the center of the action. However, it's easy to take a taxi on the street, just hail them as they pass and the fare is about 25 dh, or $3.50. We recommend this apartment without reservation.

Very nice accommodation in the center of Fes. You can do anything on foot. When we arrived someone was waiting for us to get us to the place. Many services are offered by the owners which makes the stay easier! Khadouj and Laurent were responsive and available to our requests. So we highly recommend this listing!

Yacoob is very nice and helpful 👍. The flat was as described and we enjoyed our stay. It's a 10 minutes drive from the Medina and has lot of shops and restaurants nearby. There is also an traditional Hammam next door, with amazing ladies and we could speak with gestures and got to understand each other 😀 even though we did not speak a communal language. I loved the scrub. will definitely be back. Thanks 😊

We spent 3 nights there with our 3 teenage children. The location is very central and convenient, the terrace is great for breakfast or resting. Breakfast included was a real plus. On the other hand, the 2 bedrooms on the first floor are quite dark. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this house and would be happy to return.

A unique and different experience, because of the accommodation and the host. The place as described in the listing. The caves are a very interesting experience. The beds are comfortable, and although the services are basic, the truth is that you can't ask for more from this type of accommodation. As for Thami, he was pleasant and friendly at all times. He gave us instructions to meet him at a nearby parking lot, but we didn't pay much attention to him and went directly to the accommodation. He picked us up to take the car to the parking area and showed us a larger cave that he has and uses as a dining room and accommodation for larger groups. Although we didn't give him much notice, he was able to prepare a fantastic and abundant dinner with a chicken tagine and also served us a fantastic breakfast, all prepared by them. It is definitely a highly recommended experience to spend at least one night and enjoy its caves and its friendliness.

For a family holiday near the hectic but picturesque fes, this is an excellent base. Sidi hrazem, ain Allah both at a manageable distance. Very quiet area. Beautiful villa with all the comforts. Lovely large garden with very spacious and especially clean swimming pool for the family. The welcome was warm and check out was very easy. We will definitely come back and stay for at least a week. Wissam and wife are very nice hosts.

I had the pleasure of staying at Maroune's place for 28 days, and it was a wonderful experience. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, and the location was excellent—centrally situated and within walking distance of many key attractions. The Fez Medina was just a short taxi ride away. Conveniently, there is a small Marjane grocery store on the same street, and a larger Marjane is just a 10-minute walk away. The area itself is great for walking and exploring. During my stay, unexpected city construction work began, which was beyond Maroune’s control. Despite this, he went above and beyond by providing a portable WiFi connection when the construction disrupted the internet, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity. The portable WiFi worked perfectly. The apartment also features a lovely sunroom/enclosed balcony, providing a comfortable space to relax. Maroune was extremely helpful, always available for suggestions or assistance when needed. Thank you, Maroune!

We had a lovely stay at Dar Malika. Transfers went very well on arrival and departure. The taxis booked by our host were there even at 3:30 a.m.! The accommodation is beautiful and very spacious. It is very well equipped. The decoration immediately immerses us in the Moroccan world, which contributes to the change of scenery. The terrace is extraordinary and has an unobstructed view of the medina. The Dar is in the heart of the medina and shopping areas. There are plenty of restaurants nearby! At night, once the shops are closed, the medina regains its calm and we slept very well. We are delighted with our stay. We recommend Dar Malika without hesitation, its location is really optimal.

Ahmed was very responsive. He was flexible with checkin when my trip got delayed. Khadijah, the house keeper was helpful and kind. She stored our bags after checkout so that we could explore the city a bit further. The area was friendly and walkable.

Kenza’s place felt unreal! It was majestic and perfectly situated in the Medina. Everything was wonderful from check in to check out. The added services were much appreciated and the dinner was the best we had anywhere in Morocco! I would highly recommend!

I didn't know about Fes. I went alone with my 2 daughters for a week. Our plane was delayed. We arrived at the apartment around 2 a.m. Arrival was smooth. The instructions were clear and our host contacted us regularly before being sure that we had arrived safely. Very clean, secure accommodation with plenty of storage. The terrace is shared by the 2 apartments in the building. Downtown nearby and grocery store just across from the apartment, very small but where you can find everything, managed by a welcoming and kind shopkeeper. Very available and responsive host (changed our faulty coffee maker in 10 minutes to bring us another one, advised us for our visits to the city, helped us find a taxi to reach the airport...). However, they remain very discreet and only show up if you need them. I recommend this place 100%!!!!!

I asked for transportation from airport to the flat for an additional 150 dh. Loubna's husband picked me up with his car which also took care if the check in process. He kept communication with me all the time before i arrived and was already waiting for me when i got to the airport. He greeted me with a smile and a bottle of water. On the way we chatted about different topics and he was very friendly. When we got to the flat, he gave me a 15min tour around the neighborhood where he showed me nearby restaurants, shops, cafes and the CTM bus station because i was taking the bus for my next trip from Fes to Ouazzane. Then went to the house where again he gave me a tour of the house and explained everything. If i go back to Fes, i would definitly stay with them again.

Karina was the perfect host, with the perfect riad for me and my family (2 adults, 2 young kids) for three nights. In fact, her lovingly restored riad might be THE BEST AIRBNB accommodation I have ever stayed in... and I’ve stayed in 20+ over the years. The location is in the old medina, walking distance to the medersa, Blue Gate, Karaouiyn Mosque-University and Place Seffarine, and Nur (go get a reservation!!) and of course, close enough for us to wander through the medina’s markets where we picked up fresh baked khoubz, fruit and vegetables and eggs... which we enjoyed on a sunny day on the rooftop terrace! Although the December-January temperatures do chill once the sun goes down, we were prepared with warmer layers. Karina’s bedrooms and bathrooms were gently heated so we were never uncomfortable. Karina thought of everything, and we’re in love with Fez largely because of her and her riad.

Everything was great, the host was always available to us via WhatsApp. The place was clean and you feel right at home. A few negative things that unfortunately the host could not do anything about, for example that the Internet was down the whole time and on the 2nd day the water pressure in showers was very weak Otherwise everything was wonderful

We spent 4 amazing nights in these Riad and we’ve loved to stroll around all the narrow streets of Medina, since the Riad is in the Medina’s heart. It was probably an ancient family house with 3 rooms (and 3 bathrooms now!) with a common central luminous space. Equipped with all you need for a comfy stay. Big rooms and a lot of space: we’ve stayed with our two kids and they love the place too. We found very useful to have washing machine and drying machine in the apartment. We were incredibly surprised since in the night it was really quiet and silent, despite being in the heart of the city.

Thank you so much to Touria and Jamal for accommodating us at such short notice. I think we booked with less than 12 hours notice and yet they managed to get the house clean and ready for us to check-in and greeted us with a Moroccan breakfast. We felt very welcome. The villa is beautiful, spacious and in a very quiet and secure neighbourhood. Our honest feeling is that it was nicer than the photos! Jamal was our point person and he was always available and always responded to any queries very quickly. This was and is very much appreciated.

A compact kitchen features wooden cabinets and a marble countertop. Appliances include a refrigerator, stove, and sink. A window allows natural light to brighten the space, while patterned flooring adds visual interest.
