Hotel vacation rentals in Barlavento Algarvio

When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised! We were greeted in the most friendliest way possible. The property and room is modern and renovated without loosing its original touch. The hospitality was outstanding and we can not thank Mariana and her family enough for the lovely local tips, the food and the help they provided.

Un esempio: comodo, funzionale, sostenibile, pulito e arredato con gusto (che non guasta mai). Lo stesso vale per gli host!

Séjour de 4 nuits dans ce magnifique établissement à taille humaine. Environnement paisible avec une superbe vue sur la campagne et l’océan au loin. C’était vraiment parfait. Le logement est très bien équipé . Le service de petit déjeuner et de ménage rajoutent encore au confort de l’endroit. Les hôtes sont très attentionnés et très sympathiques. Nous recommandons vivement!

Wonderful place! We really enjoyed our stay. Great communication, easy check-in, well-equipped kitchen, beautiful view and Iris arranged the bed for our baby, which was really great. Thank you for a home away from home! 🥰

Super auberge et hôte très accueillant. Pour trouver le lieu, il est plus facile de chercher "hostel on the hill" sur le gps. Prévoyez un pull, il y a du vent! ;)

Stress free, easy check in. So many fun amenities and cute kitchen and living room area. Everything was clean with no issues! Would stay here again :)

Margarida was very nice and helpful with everything, the apartment is in a very nice area - you have a lot of bars and restaurants there and the sea of course ! The only problem was with the bathroom, we think it would be nice if you change the hose and shower head and take care of the roof from the shower Everything else was perfect

This (mostly?) family run business made us feel very welcome, and right at home from the moment of checking in up until the moment we had left. When we checked in Ana immediately presented us with some wonderful ideas to eat and do in the neighbourhood, which she actually enjoyed herself doing. Nice touch! We understood eachother perfectly, as fellow foodies 😃 And when we asked for some amenities that were not listed, they were able to provide within minutes! (Look, we weren't asking for a helicopter on the roof.. they were just minor things. but still!) The only thing I'm not going to miss is the hard bed, but that's just personal preference I guess 😉 Everything was clean, always. The location is within walking distance of everything we would have needed. And all that accompanied with an honest, well-meant, and broad smile by the owners. Would book again without any doubt.

Ótima localização e habiente super famíliar, adoramos nossa estadia super recomendo e conserteza voltaremos.

Super hostel, les parties communes sont top, notamment l'extérieur et le salon/ salle à manger. Tout est très propre. Le staff est vraiment super gentils et accueillant. Les chambres sont bien équipées avec lumière et prise individuelle, ainsi que des rideaux pour un peu d'intimité. Le seul point négatif a été le confort de mon lit, je sentais le sommier au centre.

Lorsqu’on découvre un logement conforme à l’annonce on est forcément content, mais quand c’est encore mieux que prévu on ne peut que être ravi ! Tout est très beau et surtout entretenu ! Pas de mauvaise surprise par rapport aux photos, le logement était vraiment agréable et toutes les installations superbes. Le ménage quotidien, la mise à disposition d’un lit et d’une chaise haute gratuitement pour notre fils d’1 an, la possibilité de commander les repas servis au restaurant, c’était vraiment appréciable !

Wir haben bei unserer Wanderung auf dem Fischerweg eine Nacht bei Dorien verbracht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Unser Zimmer war sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und verfügte über einen Mini-Kühlschrank. Alles war sehr sauber. Insbesondere die eigene Dusche im Gemeinschaftsbad hat uns positiv überrascht. Die Duschkabinen sind mit Zimmernummern gekennzeichnet. Auch den Self Check-in nach 17 Uhr haben wir als sehr angenehm empfunden, da wir somit bei der Wanderung nicht unter Zeitdruck geraten sind. Wenn man vor 17 Uhr in der Unterkunft ankommt, empfängt Dorien ihre Gäste persönlich. Die Unterkunft verfügt über einen tollen, geräumigen Aufenthaltsraum. Morgens besteht zudem die Möglichkeit, das mitgebrachte Frühstück im Essensraum zu verzehren. Wir können einen Aufenthalt bei Dorien sehr empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder!

Beautiful beach house with lovely decor - everything we needed for cooking and relaxing. The location is so wonderful, right next to the sea. Faro is easily accessible, we loved the little ferry which crosses from the island to town. All the nearby restaurants had great dishes. Sonja and Sergio were extremely kind and welcoming. It was a perfect holiday for us in every way 🌞

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Oksana et Matthew. La chambre est très spacieuse, la literie confortable. Nous avons pu profiter de tous les équipements (piscine, tennis, ping pong et barbecue). La villa est au calme et le centre de Carvoeiro est à quelques minutes à pieds. Nous y reviendrons certainement !

Excelente espaço, decoração e a localização é ótima. Nos surpreendemos, uma dos únicos acesso sem descida até a praia em Portimão. Nos sentimos em casa, café da manhã olhando para a Marina e a Praia. Super indicamos e esperamos voltar!

A Carolina teve sempre a maior atenção em todos os pormenores e disponível para facilitar em tudo o que precisámos. A casa está muito bem localizada e tem boas áreas exteriores e interiores para umas férias confortáveis com espaço.

lovely villa which is great for families. we were a group of 4 adults and 2 toddlers. place was spotless and host very responsive and helpful. welcome basket for us when we arrived. pool is slightly cool but believe there is an option to have it heated. prainha village itself is nice but slightly tired looking. playground needs some updating but is a good facility to have. dining options close by are limited, but 20 minute walk to Alvor only. overall would 100% recommend
