All the modern day amenities but completely separated from society. Jose/April are incredibly friendly and salt-of-the-earth. Their place is everything and more; the accommodations were perfect. They open the property to be shared and it is GORGEOUS.

Wow! Where can you go on a big holiday for 4 days with 100% of your kids, in-laws and grandkids and hear nothing but “When can we come back?” Wish I could show you pics of cooking, cards, pool, fishing and goofy games that just makes life great and memories of a lifetime. The Octo cabin was perfect for our snall family of 3. The loft is perfect for kids! Check in was seamless, the decorations were fantastic! The kitchen was clean and well outfitted for a comfortable, eating in and preparing food stay. This site is definitely on our list to visit again.

This home was so beautiful. It was clean and suitable for everyday living. Would be great for long term stays, but made our short visit that much more worth it. Being able to have the comfort of fairly priced home cooked meals vs. over priced unhealthy fast food was the best, especially with traveling as a family with kids. The host was very Informational and understanding and not pushy; very communicative. The amenities were top notch and will definitely be using this location for future visits to my family that is local to the town.

I had eleven friends coming to town last weekend. I found two BnBs I didn’t know about. Thanks Mark for having such a nice place to stay in Goldthwaite. My friends really enjoyed it.

Ted’s place is a gem ! We enjoyed everything about it ! Very spacious , cozy , a place to relax & unwind ! We felt right at home. It was very clean & had everything we needed. He has it set up nicely - creek for fishing 🎣 propane grill for grilling , fire pit for s’more’s kayaks / oars , paddle boats , 🛶 life jackets for everyone safety . Kids really enjoyed it ! Very peaceful 😌 We all had a a great time! Ted is welcoming & very good host ! We will come back again ! Thanks Ted cya next time

My wife, two kids, the dog, and I all felt right at home. The home was extremely clean, thoughtfully updated, and was the perfect relaxing atmosphere to unwind after house hunting. Brownwood is the hidden gem of Texas! The host was very fast to respond, provided us with clear check in instructions, and was very accommodating. All of our questions were answered by having helpful notes posted throughout the house. The kids felt like they were on an adventure sleeping in the loft and loved it. We plan to stay here the next round of house viewings we have!
