The Courtyard 3 - Self Catering Apartments Mallow

This was an extremely comfortable place to stay. Spacious apartment, excellent tiled bathroom with great water pressure and good quality thick towels. Plus shelves in a bathroom are always a benefit when travelling 👏🏻 The kitchen is very well equipped with hob, oven and microwave. Scissors, sharp knives, cling wrap and tin foil always handy 👍🏻 when travelling on the road. Thanks too for the Nespresso and pods 🙂☕️ Lots of PowerPoints and excellent wifi. We really appreciated having a washer and dryer (including great instructions) to catch up on our laundry. Dishwasher too was a treat with plenty of good crockery and cutlery. Lovely big bed in a spacious bedroom. Unit is upstairs but we were able to back car up drive to unload suitcases. Overnight parking is good.

Castle Oliver Farm

This is it, the magical one. The one that's even better than the photos suggest. Set in a beautiful and idyllic area of the country, this house is grand in more ways than one. With houses becoming more modern and plain, it's great to see a place that revels in its older heritage. The rooms are spacious and beautiful, and the beds are comfy. The kitchen is incredible and very well-appointed with enough utensils and supplies for a large group. The house is set in beautiful fields and gardens, and we were permitted to walk and explore. Ellen and Jasmijn greeted us on arrival and showed us around. The only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. A true retreat in the Irish countryside.

The Annex

This was a really fantastic place to stay, and Wesley and Karen were the perfect hosts. The accommodation was absolutely spotless, warm and welcoming and the facilities were exactly what I needed. It is situated a few yards from the town which has everything one requires and yet it was so quiet and peaceful. Karen and Wesley were so open and friendly and nothing was too much trouble...they even offered to take me on a local sightseeing tour which was most thoughtful. I came away rested (the bed was amazing!) and I am already planning my return visit. Thank you to you both and I look forward to meeting up again.

Perfect stay. Pristine renovation of this historic cottage. Our host Jim shared the history and gave great recommendations for the area and the rest of our journey. Very comfortable and full of thoughtful amenities. Would love to stay again if we get back to this area.
