Karen’s place provided a wonderful retreat whilst we were at Golden Plains festival with our children (3&5yo). The children loved the garden Karen provided thoughtful bubble bath, the kitchen was very well equipped (we even baked muffins) and the BBQ was spotless! Buninyong is a lovely town close by and it’s so close to Ballarat if you want to explore those sights and delights. Thanks again for a lovely stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Jane’s house in Wendouree. The house was exactly as described and was spotless when we arrived. We loved the feel of the house looking out to the garden and thoughtful touches like welcome gifts plus dog bowls for our dogs. We were in Ballarat to celebrate my birthday and Jane was super helpful with suggestions of places for large groups to eat as well as things to do. We loved our stay and hope to return again one day.

We had a fantastic stay in Bella's gorgeous cottage. The house had everything we needed, was very comfortable and close to everything. We would definitely recommend and will return if we're ever in Ballarat again. Bella was a very friendly host and was super obliging with check-in and check-out times.

We had such a lovely stay at Hazel House. The home is beautifully decorated with so many thoughtful touches that made it feel welcoming and comfortable from the moment we walked in. The lounge was especially cosy—I spent hours happily reading my book there—and the outdoor BBQ area was a great bonus that we made good use of. Sarah was a fantastic host—super responsive, friendly, and gave us all the detail we needed to enjoy our stay. The location is also spot on, just a short drive to Lake Wendouree. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for a wonderful getaway!

I was impressed by the spices and ameneties they had in the kitchen. Great collection of coffee making machines, utensils, very clean and new pans and pots, variety of spices. We loved our stay. the balcony area was great for early morning wakeup and listening to birds. great location. 👍☺️

Ashlea was an amazing host and very responsive. The house was super kid friendly even having plastic plates, bowls, cups, toys and highchair! The outdoor area was lovely, including a dart board to play. The house has been neatly renovated, whilst keeping its old charm (windows, taps, doors etc give it that heritage feel, which fits in well for Ballarat). We were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend.

Very comfortable house, super clean, Barbara provided fresh milk and Easter eggs with flowers on table, beautiful touch. Beds comfortable and super cozy living room.thanks Barbara was a real treat to stay at miner’s cottage.

A great place to stay, the house was well maintained and was only a short drive to the cbd. Karen was very accomodating letting us stay another night and was efficient with communicating. I definitely recommend staying at this BNB.

Wow, we loved this peaceful haven! Fabulous gardens, amazing eye for detail, clean as a whistle, fantastic communication, cute welcome gift, stellar outdoor fire, pickle ball fun and 24 good that felt like a long weekend! it's has been one of our favourite Air BnBs after many years on the platform. ❤️ We honestly felt it was better then the photos and amazing value. We also loved the charitable donation from our booking - good will of the fabulous hosts giving up profit. I would like to mention that the stairs up to the loft are steep-ish. Not crazy, but if you have any mobility issues or a little older (we are early 50s and noticed it but not an issue) then please contact the host and chat about.

Couldn’t be happier with our stay at Alison’s place. The home was just right for our overnight stay. The surroundings were beautiful and quiet. Farm animals out the window, so peaceful! Alison’s hospitality was next level! We were completing a section of the Goldfields track walk and Alison’s place was only 1.6km off the path and well worth the little extra walk. Highly recommend staying here if completing this multi-day hike.

We loved staying here and would recommend it to anyone! Lovely place, beautifully furnished, peaceful and relaxing with stunning views. The fresh bread and wine on arrival was the cherry on top!

Great place and very close to everything you need in Ballarat. The sheets were lovely, beds very comfortable and the kitchen really well appointed, loved the coffee machine and it was thoughtful having bread, milk and butter ready for us on arrival.

The house was clean and tidy. We had a great stay. My kids loved it. It was nice to have the private studio up the top of the block. It was convenient to everything. The house was well equipped and everything worked well. We hope to stay again next year.

We had such a fantastic experience staying at this beautiful home in Gordon. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect — the house was immaculately clean, stylishly decorated, and incredibly welcoming. One of the highlights for us was the stunning kitchen and butler’s pantry — a dream setup for anyone who enjoys cooking or entertaining. It was so well-equipped and spacious, making it a real pleasure to use. The outdoor area was just as impressive, with a luxurious jacuzzi that was perfect for winding down in the evenings. And the man cave was a real bonus — such a fun, cozy space to relax and hang out. The location is peaceful and well-connected, and the hosts were so thoughtful and responsive throughout our stay. Every detail was clearly considered to make guests feel at home. We’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-end, comfortable, and memorable getaway in Gordon.

House was so cute, and had everything we needed. Safe and secure backyard aswell for the dogs to play. Having fresh eggs from the chickens was so cool also. Loved that.
