What a wonderful place to escape to. A beautiful home, amazing views, wonderful pool and hot tub. Very clean and well cared for. Saavas was incredibly helpful and friendly & accommodating. Can’t fault it at all. In fact I feel very lucky to have found these four nights as it’s booked up way in advance normally. A tiny piece of paradise. Taverna was closed next door but that just made it more peaceful (maybe noisier if open but still private) - such an interesting time of year before the season started - watching all the Greeks get everything ready for the season! Pool was cold but the hot tub was amazing and warm so was a great balance. Easter was a lovely time to visit especially as very lucky with the weather. Did get eaten alive the first night so beware of mosquitos but we found the special plugs, & were more cautious after that. Maybe it was early season, maybe the recent rain. Loved the Swallows and house martins that flew over for a period morning and evening Perfect…

Amazing place

I had a wonderful stay at this house. It’s located in a quiet countryside setting, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The highlight of the stay was definitely the jacuzzi and sauna, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The house itself is clean, well-maintained, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hosts were friendly and responsive, making sure everything was perfect. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with great amenities, this place is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

Manuela welcomed us with wine and fresh bread. She has a really cozy Bnb, she is super friendly and helpful and the apartment is fully equipped. We enjoyed our stay a lot 🥰

We feel lucky to have stayed at this house—the views really are just as stunning as they are in the pictures. Boža and Dušan were very welcoming and we had everything we needed to really settle in for a few nights—the kitchen, for example, was very well furnished with all sorts of practical implements for real cooking (i.e. not just a few dull knives and a single ladle rattling around in otherwise empty drawers). We really appreciated the house's easy access to Italy, Austria, and of course the rest of northwestern Slovenia—it offers a great combination of dramatic mountain views and easy road access (so no daredevil driving up and down steep and rocky rural roads every time you want to get some groceries). I'm sure the house is lovely in all seasons, but it was especially enjoyable to take a dip in the jacuzzi with an overnight frost settling in and then cozy up by the fireplace inside.

The accommodation exceeded our expectations – even more beautiful than in the pictures. Quiet, private location with idyllic surroundings, yet all important places are within easy reach. We would have liked to have stayed longer and would come back right away.

Daniels cottage was great. It is located on a meadow in the middle of a forest in the hills and is extremely quiet and peaceful. A perfect place for relax and rest. All was exactly as listed and described.

We loved our stay here so much and didn't want to leave. Ivan and his family are wonderful hosts, always there to help with a smile, but lots of space for everybody. They work hard and have earned their amazing reputation with locals and holiday makers. Our kids loved the pool, the space to play and the kittens! Thank you so much Ivan, we would love to come back one day.

We had a great time in Podkum. The location was really beautiful, beautiful surroundings and a lovely garden to sit in. The kitchen was very well equipped in terms of equipment and crockery. The bedrooms had nice beds and we didn't miss anything. Lilijana took us to the house, was extremely flexible and welcoming. In short, recommended if you love peace, nature and quiet in a comfortable and cozy home.

A lovely place to stay in a beautiful, rural part of Greece. The cottage was great for the 2 of us plus our 2 dogs, with beautiful outdoor spaces to enjoy the weather and the surroundings.

A beautiful place to switch off and feel good! The location is fantastic – quiet, spacious and in the middle of nature. The rustic ambiance with the small, lovingly furnished wooden houses is simply enchanting. There are cozy places to linger everywhere, whether at the great barbecue area or in the open air with friends. A special highlight are the many animals that live here: dogs, deer, emus, peacocks, rabbits and more – that makes the stay really special. We would like to highlight Mihai, the "good spirit" of the property. He is always there when you need help, takes care of the guests, the animals and the entire grounds. Thanks to him, you feel welcome immediately. A very special place with soul – we are guaranteed to come back!

There were two of us with a dog for 7 nights at Franzes. The location of the accommodation is quiet and perfect, with a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of privacy. The house is rustic and tastefully furnished, there is really everything you need for a great vacation. The entire lower floor incl. three areas in the outdoor area were only for us. It was particularly nice that there are fresh eggs from the chickens every day, which you can take yourself. Frances is a quiet, likeable and very friendly host who was always there for us. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back. For travelers with dogs, it should also be mentioned that the accommodation is very dog-friendly. There are meadows around the house, so the dogs have a lot of freedom. Everything was well prepared and it was very nice – both for us and for our four-legged friend.

This villa is absolutely beautiful. It is better than the pictures even show! The views are incredible and everything is so tranquil. There is one restaurant within walking distance, but with scooter rental and taxis, everything was accessible. Valentino was a great host and helped us with whatever we needed (restaurant reservation, taxis, etc). It is a beautifully maintained property and I highly recommend staying here!

Codrin is a gentleman host, generous with his hospitality and local knowledge. To find gems like this one—surrounded by beauty, and tucked closely among genuine working people living their lives—is the reason we travel. We’re grateful to have stayed here.

Fantastic time out in the middle of the vineyards and nature with magnificent views!The green oasis of Slovenia. We had the pleasure of spending a few days in this cozy cottage on a vineyard, and it was just nice. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a magnificent view. Champagne & chocolate were ready for us. The cottage itself is cozy, thoughtful and furnished with a lot of love for detail. You can immediately tell that everything was built and designed here with a lot of passion. An absolute highlight is the terrace with the hot tub and sauna, from which you can fully enjoy the breathtaking landscape. Here we were able to relax perfectly and leave everyday life behind. For cozy evenings, there was also a barbecue corner and a fire bowl. We would like to thank Matej for the hospitality. Matej brought us wine & wood. We had a relaxing time for two with a dog.

Even though we arrived late (classic lost tourists!), Serafim was very accommodating, kind, available, and welcoming. The house is beautifully decorated, full of charm and attention to detail, and set in the middle of a peaceful olive grove. We were greeted with a lovely welcome basket, and there’s also an adorable dog on the property that made the stay even sweeter. The region is stunning, and we truly can’t wait to come back!

As other reviews stated, this is such a perfect space. My husband and I stayed for a week to relax and see Patmos and it was hard to leave! Matthaios was incredibly helpful + friendly. It was so sweet to provide a ride to the house since it would be difficult to find on your own. Definitely check out his brother's restaurant Botpus / Votris - it is delicious! The sound of the waves at night, the beautiful patio with hanging bed overlooking the water, friendly neighbors, listening to the goat bells as the goats were hearded across the mountain every evening... you can't beat that. Honestly, I wish I lived in this house full time! Loved that it was an easy, beautiful walk into town if you wanted, or a short drive. We rented a car because we wanted to be able to see all the sights. Thank you for the most perfectly amazing stay. 🙏🏼🧡

We spent our honeymoon here and like it away from mass tourism. Michael's accommodation with the many seating options, the beautifully landscaped greenery surrounded by nature and even with a view of the sea was like a perfect, quiet love nest with birdsong. Michael welcomed us perfectly, with sweets in the fridge (we even drove to the café because it tasted so delicious), recommendations for the area and a nice farewell gesture. I am particularly pleased with the coffee machine, for my obligatory latte macchiato. We particularly recommend the hiking tour directly from the cottage to Peters Rock and the restaurant on the east side directly by the sea as well as Paradies Kavourotripes Beach. Perfect for letting your mind wander. Thank you, Michaelis, you are a relaxed, warm host.

This place really gives you the most beautiful view over the big lake Trichonida, fantastic! You can't get more privacy. We were accompanied by Mr. Georgio with his car up the mountain roads, great! we had the company of 4 cats, including 2 kittens. Super sweet but you have to love it because they won't leave you alone We had a fantastic time here!!

A beautiful haven of tranquility. We loved Ivan’s place, amazing views from the big windows and we enjoyed sitting on the deck with a Montenegrin coffee watching the birds. The stars at night were spectacular. In close proximity to Zabljak but far enough away to have total peace. We enjoyed driving the Durmitor ring, swimming in the black lake and visiting Tara River Canyon for rafting. Durmitor certainly has a piece of our hearts and Ivan’s place was the perfect base to explore.

What a privilege to stay in this unique dwelling! Beautifully designed and surprisingly bright, it also had everything we needed to feel at home — including stylish Puglian ceramic kitchenware. We loved the peaceful rural surroundings of olive groves, stone walls and wildflowers, the bikes for riding the ciclovia acquedotto, and the pool for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The location is great for exploring the charming, lesser-known towns of the Valle d’Itria. It was too chilly at night to use the lovely outdoor kitchen so we’ll have to save that for another stay! Petra, a warm and thoughtful host, has put her heart into making Trullo Cinderella a “trulli” special place, and we’re very grateful to have had this experience.

The location of the house was very good, both quiet and very close to the village and places to eat and drink. I also really liked the view of the garden.

A small, very clean, functional, cozy accommodation! As described and perfectly suited for a stay for two in a peaceful and pleasant setting. The host Elina is exceptional, very welcoming, responsive. This accommodation and its hostess allowed us to have a perfect stay on the island of Corfu! We highly recommend it and will come back if we go back to Corfu and the accommodation is available! Bonus: the pretty cat that awaits you when you open the windows in the morning and when you come home in the evening! She is adorable and very cuddly (we love cats so it's a big plus!).
